This is not the spot for tent campers looking for a rustic adventure. This is for families camping in tents, RV's, or renting a cabin. If you can't stand kids, this is not for you. This spot is very close to both Santa Cruz and Monterey's tourist attractions. You will spend more money at this camp site versus state parks...

As all KOA campgrounds this one is similar, but I believe one of the largest as they have many different lodging options (many one room cabins and multiple room cabins as well as tent area and RV). I stayed in one of the one room camping cabins, which just has a double bed and a bunk bed. This is standard...

We had a great time camping here over New Year's with our two young kids in an RV. Lots of fun stuff to do onsite as well as nearby. Campsites were well kept and decently sized. Good onsite general store. Arcade could use newer games, but our kids had a blast on the bouncy pillow and there is a pool...

This was our first time we went with 7 other families and stayed different type rooms. The best is room with loft. It is great place the restrooms were cleanest I've ever seen for camp places. We walked to the beach from the camp site with the kids on the old train tracks and found some track nails, kids loved...

Spent a week here with my family in November and we come several times a year. Campground is kept very clean and all staff is friendly. It has a air pillow, train rides, and a nice large playground area my kids love. It's a bit of a risky walk / ride to the near by state park for beach access....

We walked on the Santa Cruz pier and stopped by at one of the many souvenir shops to pick up a Santa Cruz/ Pacific memorabilia and order ice cream. Lovely handcrafted blown glass figurines were being sold. There are many good seafood restaurants here and also quaint little curio shops selling miniature dolls. We also hung out around the fishing...

We were needing a hotel in Monterrey but they were all too expensive so we decided to try a cabin that wasn't too far. The drive through the country side was really nice, the cabin was very clean, the beds were comfortable, it just wasn't up to being modernized. This is fine for people that are use to this type...

We spent two nights at this campground after arriving late one evening. Staff were great, they even helped us hook up because it was late and they could tell we were tired. Kids enjoyed the parks facilities and explored while we cooked up a big Aussie breakfast. After a day exploring it was nice to come back to the park...

This was one of the best trips we've ever taken.. we came with some friends for labor day weekend and I've never camped before but now, this is probably the only way I'll go camping or glamping.. we stayed in cabin 157.. we had a loft, mini kitchen, bathroom, tv, ac/heater and a queen size bed that was comfortable.. it...

I have stayed at a lot of koa and this one by far brings me the best memories. My husband with our kids rented an airstream trailer. I have no words to explain how amazing it was. Had just right amount of privacy for a family when you're camping. Just the right amount of Kitch. I have been shopping for...

“pick an RV sight near the bouncing pillow if you have kids. If you want quiet, ask to be as far from that pillow as possible. If you want to swim, ask for a site near the playground. If you have a dog, try to be near the beach shack.”
