We stayed here on the fly in our RV. This park is located right along the lake and just off I-5. Pool was open, food served and Wednesday night Bingo, along with friendly staff. The bathrooms/showers are pretty sketchy though. Since we were self contained, it was not an issue for us. We enjoyed our stay.

Unless you like cigarettes, flies and noise all hours of the night, I wouldn't stay here. I'm not sure how they get away with the multiple health violations, like the group of smokers right next to the shallow end of the pool where small children swim. They even allow smoking in the pool area or at least don't stop people....

We stayed here for 2 night in a tent space with full hookup and everything was fantastic! The staff was very helpful and nice, and the camping was very clean and quiet, with a good wifi signal :) The camping has also a restaurant, a pool and a minimarket inside. Highly recommanded if you're searching for a tent site around...

At least in the so-called cabins. They are run down, old, dirty and funky. Bathroom faucets creak and spray, shower is gross, rooms felt dingy. If you're passing through looking for a place to stay, keep looking, or sleep in your car before you stay the night here. The bar and restaurant are decent enough, though.

This campground has noise all around it: I-5, a small busy road, trains, and speed boats. It was very noisy all night. The sites are very crowded and small. Our site had garbage and dog poop in it. The site also had ashes and charcoal piles, but no fire pit! I guess maintenance doesn't inspect the sites often. Thankfully, there...

My name is Nicole Lazarus and I have been passing through Lakehead for over 30 years. I think Lakeshore is the best place -- located on the lake - it can't be beat. All of the staff are a delight to interact with and the owners, Ross and Charlotte, are the kindest hearted people ever. The RV sites may be...

Do not expect much if you stay here, but you'll survive if you do. We booked this last minute via the internet but should have done a bit more research. We stayed here for 2 nights in a "lakeside" cabin. The location of the cabin is on the lake, but there is no direct access to the water b/c of...

TOTALLY AGREE WITH Don B and JJM082011--We were there when it was at capacity this past week. Although the staff is friendly (moved us around to get away from our obnoxious neighbors) and the location is right on the water, 90 % of the rv sites are only 5 ft wider on all sides than the largest RV. There is...

We stayed in the campground here. Beautiful lake views. Pool was very clean and nice. People were very friendly and helpful. Loved all the Kareoke on Friday and Saturday nite. Wish I could sing. Yes its a bit older but then with all the nice trees and such makes up for its age.

This was the nastiest place that I have ever stayed. I could not bear to stay the last night of my three night stay, and drove part way home that night. I know a guy in Redding that may give you a deal on bull dozing the cabins. Nice healthy ant population in the bathroom as well.
