Very basic motel with no frills, great service, very clean, has everything you need. Looks are deceiving. Free good Wi-Fi, close to a good restaurant/bar within 5 mins walk. Would stay here again as it's just what you need at a great price!

We arrived in this vacation town with no reservation, and we were filled with apprehension about finding available rooms and high prices. The Lee Vining Motel looked like the rates couldn't be very high so I checked it out. The office used to be a gas station, ceiling tiles were missing here and there but Lynn was nice and showed...

A no-nonsense, simple motel. Clean. Decent bed. Affordable. Location: a beautiful 20 minute drive from Yosemite National Park. Right beside Lake Mono. Supermarket, restaurant and coffee shop on walking distance. Perfect stay after a long day driving or after coming out of Yosemite NP.

With campgrounds full-up for holiday weekend and several of the better rated hotels in town already posting their "No Vacancy" signs, we pulled in here out of desperation. I was pretty much just grateful to have a bed for the night, and that they didn't seem to be price-gouging desperate travelers. Pro's: An inexpensive bed to sleep in. Clean. Quiet....

Stayed here one night recently. You know "that little voice..." that you should always trust and act on? When I entered the "office" I was immediately on guard, seemed like a makeshift deal and very messy, including the people working there. I asked to see a room first before booking one. It was what I expected, very spartan simple cheap...

We found the place at the last minute snd thanks that it was Lee Vining Motel because it was really clean, nice and warm. Just one disadvantage that the sink didint work in room. But everything was good.

Nice motel, clean, reasonable, the staff are so nice! I left my ipod and headphones after coming down from a long backpack trip and was exhausted. They found them, and then mailed them to me. They even put the nightgown I had forgotten into the box! Small town charm and hospitality.

We spend the night for checking out Bodie and Mono Lake the next day. Fine for 1 night. $70-ish price category. Very small rooms, but in the end it did the job. Wifi was very slow. So rather then spend another night, we drove to Yosemite in the afternoon.

This is a very nice small motel the was a nice respite after leaving Yosemite. We stopped for the night hoping to find a place to rest. The first place was "No Vacancy." Then we found this place. They had one room left. It was all we needed with a single queen bed and a nice shower. Very clean and...

I was in town eating an early dinner when a huge thunderstorm began to develop. Although I was camping in Yosemite, I decided to give myself a treat and get a hotel room to spend a stormy night inside. I checked in and headed to my room. My impressions went like this: Why are all the room windows open? (it...
