This place has an ideal location very close to Mono Lake and Tioga Pass. I would say the price is a bit higher than i would have expected being that it's not modern by any means. Still, it has all the main essentials like a bed, warm shower, wifi and parking right in front of the room so can't complain... More

Stayed 1 night in Murphey's Motel Lee Vining. It was a little bit on the expensive side for what we got I felt. The rooms were very clean, the cooking facilities were very well kept and clean. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Great stay for Lee Vining. Very friendly management. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Had wifi in room but it was very spotty. Great location for getting to Mono Lake, Bodie and the Tioga Road entrance to Yosemite. Quiet, even though on the main drag through Lee Vining.

We werent planning on doing on overnight here as we were just driving through Yosemite from SF to LA and had taken so many picture stops on the picturesque Yosemite that it had been too late to drive. We had hopped from one Hotel to another as this was an unexpected cost in our travel and had been given their... More

Sopped just on the chance that there would be a room - luckily there was. Very clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely area - will definitely try to get back there for longer in the future. Near Lake Mono etc so ideal for a roadtrip!

We actually ended up here as this was literally the last available room in the city. Walked in the room and were pleasantly surprised - huge rooms, seems like they were renovated not too long ago. Location - around the block from Mono lake, easy drive to Tioga pass (which is where we were indeed headed). Good selection of stores... More

I've stayed at other properties in Lee Vining and the surrounding area. This is the best value. The property is a bit dated, but the amenities and furnishings are fine. The host is very helpful and friendly. The wifi is great. Even though the motel is on the main drag, it was very quiet. There is a small grocery store... More

This is minutes from Tioga Pass, Mono Lake and many beautiful spots. The room is clean and spacious, and the owners are very nice. The burger place accross the street is excellent, and there are a couple of decent places to eat in walking distance. I will definitely come back!

My husband and I stayed one night before a trip to one of the High Sierra Camps in Yosemite National Park. We've stayed here once before many years ago. The rooms have been upgraded since then, and the current manager is extremely friendly and helpful. We purposely chose a room with one bed, which gave us more space to spread... More
