Didn't even check in ! Upon arrival noticed hotel was nothing like photo on Internet in fact it looked adandoned which is hardly surprising ! When we entered the reception saw it was filthy and smelt bad upon which I started to become uneasy stating to my husband I didn't want to stay! At that time the receptionist was busy... More

What a difference compared to the last time we stayed here two years ago. The place is now dilapidated, it was such a nice place. There is an entirely different staff, the former manager, was a delight. She was the reason we decided to stay there again and now she is no longer there. The place is dirty, the grounds... More

Everybody was booked for the Santa Barbara Fiesta. We came up for a family reunion in Santa Maria and could only find this crap hole of a hotel in Lompoc. We checked in about 9pm, tired and just looking for a clean bed. The first thing I noticed was they asked for my DL and made a copy of it.... More

Loved the costumer service. The front desk man was great and very nice! Room was clean and bed was very comfy. Only thing I have to say, is that it's a very old hotel and it does need maintenance. Pool and grounds look in very bad shape! Pool doesn't have any water btw.. About the rest... Everything is fine. I... More

Stayed here on two separate trips. It seems like it was a much nicer place that doesn't have the same funding as it did before. Things were needing repair and there isn't much staff, but it was a comfortable room with a good rate when much of Lompoc was nearly at full occupancy. We called needing a room for that... More

This place looks like it may have been nice a couple decades ago. Pros: Our room was quite large and had sliding glass doors that opened onto a grassy area. Cons: It was overpriced, the "sleeper sofa" was so old and broken down that even our two kids couldn't sleep on it. It was a good thing we had the... More

This is by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The grounds looked as if they hadn't been taken care of in years. There was a strong pungent odor when you initially walk into the lobby (don't worry, it goes away after it burns your senses out). Looking around the lobby was like going back in time to early... I guess everyone has different experiences and different expectations, but for me - the White Oaks is THE place to stay. I come for longer term stays for work and other pricier hotels make me feel claustrophobic. The idea that I can can a sliding glass door in a spacious and clean room that opens out to a vast expanse... More

I stayed here because it was closest to the Air Force base and had a great extended stay rate (I stayed for a week). I expected the worst since it was so cheap but was pleasantly surprised by this place! Yes, it is quite dated and the carpets are super ugly but it was always really clean. The maid was... More

First, no employees to be found! No maids, no one at the front desk, no manager. NO ONE in sight. Just a desolate, dilapidated property with boarded up rooms, a closed pool filled with green contaminated water, a closed-boarded up restaurant, and very scary dark hallways. I called 0 on the house phone which connects to Lee's cell. Lee is... More
