We stayed here because it was the only hotel that had 3 rooms for our group. They had the room reservation under the wrong name and didn't have the number of days correct. We would probably have been more comfortable sleeping in the car! The bed was rock hard, the toilet ran for 10 minutes after you flushed, there was...

Nothing too exciting. Paper thin walls and a stiff mattress but the room was clean and the shower was welcoming after a long time spent in the mountains. We did stay in the back building so road noise was not an issue. The pool is tiny and right next to the main road so we didn't go swimming. I would...

It's very good location for Mt Whitney hiking. But I know there are cheaper hotels with similar service nearby in Long Pine. The pool is very small, and the parking is very tight and busy. Anyway, it's still a very good place for rest after Mt Whitney hiking.

Plain and simple, a nice place to rest and recover from hiking Mt. Whitney. My suggestion would be to stay in the annex (newer rooms). Pool is tiny and needed water when we were there. Room was nice, clean, like a thousand other motel rooms I've stayed in. It ain't the Hilton, but I would assume that one would come...

If you like old style motels from the 50's then this is the motel for you. It is a very basic motel to grab some rest before you go. I thought it was very $$$ for an old motel. Rooms had a old smell from the past, but the room was comfortable. Parking is very tight here, so be aware...

Even Janet Leigh from Hitchcock's movie Psycho would not enter the shower in this hotel. Paint peeling off of the walls, furniture bought from a second hand store, and towels purchased from the local football team after their last season. I think you get the idea.

I checked out a day early and front desk said to take it up with TripAdvisor/Booking.com. your site says take it up with the hotel. So where do I go now? Hotel was decent terms of cleanliness. Soap and shampoo provided are a joke. Bring your own.

I stayed at this motel for one night in late July, 2016, after spending a week backpacking in the Sierrras. PROS: - Functional shower to wash off a week of grime - Clean, comfortable bed - Owner/manager replaced burned out bathroom light bulb at 10pm CONS: - Tiny, almost useless soap (I'll pack my own next time) - Very low...

We stayed for 2 nights while we saw the sights of Lone Pine. Clean and cozy. Staff was very nice.you could walk to all the restaurants in town. When hotel has a microwave and a fridge it is easier to save a little money on food. Also on a 107 degree day the pool was soooooo nice and they left...
