We realize it was unseasonably hot when we were there but we were miserable. We left after 2 nights. The hotel is beautiful but it was suffocating with the heat. You could at least have decent fans to circulate the air.

I was impressed when we first arrived, the main lobby (although not air conditioned) did resemble a boutique hotel. It all changed when we reached our room; not only was there no air conditioning (which we desparately needed during the recent heat wave in LA), but even with 2 fans going it was extremely stuffy and smelled of cat urine....

Stayed here during the recent heat wave in LA and was shocked to discover that this hotel does not provide A/C in any of it's 600 rooms. Shocking. Unless your hotel is located in Antarctica or the North Pole, you need air con. They advertised on their website that they at least have air conditioned public areas but when I...

We were traveling at the beginning of September, weather is not cooling down yet. Since we were planning to stay one night, after browsed website, we thought this hotel should be okay. We were so disappointing after check-in. 1. they are dorm-type hotel, sharing bathroom and toilet in the hallway. you need privacy? pay for upgrade, but the room still...

My boyfriend and I stayed here in a double room with private bathroom for 4 nights in August. Main area is impressive when you first enter. Bedrooms are in need of updating but they are clean, as is the bathroom. If you are looking for somewhere that is cheap and just for sleeping this is your place to go! Common...

Had a below avrage stay here at main to put it mildly. Rooms super tiny and dirty. Mold in shower and bathroom and its just in a really shabby state! Super rude front desk that made fun of other guests as they were checking me in, and breakfast? Not even worth walking up the stairs. If you can afford something...

There are nicer areas to stay than Downtown L.A where this hotel is located. Although nothing did happen to us, we did not feel very secure in that part of L.A. the hotel room looks nice but there was no climatisation in ours, and due to the high temperature in august we could not sleep well. Shared bathrooms were not...

Good prices and localization. Small bedrooms, but comfortable place. Friendly receptionists and the hotel has breakfast until 10 AM. A good choice if you don't care sharing a bathroom and paying for valet parking.

I stayed here early July and had booked 5 nights in a private room. I arrived around 11pm and was checked in easily and quickly by a pleasant member of staff. My room was great, freestanding fan and a ceiling fan along with windows. Big tv and ample lighting, (two lamps) I also had my own toilet but the shower...

There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification.
