When you want to spent your nights in Hollywood, you can spent it here. You're only 15 minutes from the Hollywood walk of fame. The subway station Highland is only 20 minutes away. We felt safe on street. Our car was parked at the back site of the motel. There are cameras facing the parking lot, the parking spaces itself...

The motel was fab and what we expected. Clean, friendly and nice sized room. The breakfast is help yourself and served in reception but worked for us! The area is dodgy though- so don't walk here on your own.. It is a 5-10 min walk to walk of fame. There's a brill supermarket called Ralph's across the way. The pool...

Basic budget motel a couple of blocks away from Hollywood Boulevard and walk of fame. Rooms where not all that but outfitted with basic necessities. Neighbourhood seemed a bit uninviting during late hours. Easy access to freeway which is convenient when visiting LA.

Negatif: When we arrived in the room, it smelled very stale. It was not cleaned properly, in the bathroom were still remnants of toothpaste from previous guests .. At the reception, the staff was very unfriendly. Breakfast was not tasty and there are 3 tables available, (at the reception?!!) for eating breakfast. Positif: The hotel is close to most sights...

The hotel room had little roaches and did not smell well. The staff was very nice and they offered us to change rooms. They sent us to another room but the AC was not working. Then, they sent us to a third room, but it was upstairs and too far and we needed to carry all our luggage thru the...

We stayed here for a week. At first I was little dubious of the hotel and area but this turned out to be okay. The hotel was a huge clean room with two double beds, and the breakfast supplied was great along with a nice clean swimming pool. The only bad thing is the plastic covering on the mattress, it...

Uk folk beware all usa hotel prices don't include local tax and resort fees if applicable. This was supposed be $150 and ended up at $199. Very ordinary accommodation in reasonable location. Hard to find anything positive to say

I usually stay at Kimptons but when it was sold out I stayed here (twice) and both times I was surprised in a great way! Rooms were clean, not as old and beat up as I thought when hearing "motor hotel". staff is pleasant and in the AM they have coffee, juice, waffles and (very delicious) mini muffins in the...

Hotel is excellent, at a walking distance from Walk of Fame and Hollywood Boulevard attractions. Room clean. WiFi free. parking free. breakfast included ( it was very good ) and a pool . We stayed for one night with kids - we booked a room with 2 queen size and we've got a much bigger room. Reception people very kind.

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
