My main two concerns with staying in Hollywood ~ Must be clean. Must be safe. I arrived quite late to my room, and was a little concerned about the neighborhood behind the hotel, as I missed turning into the entrance and had to go around the block. I definitely would not have wanted to walk around back there alone. There...

Be ready to pay for everything. Parking $18 a night, wifi $8 a night, small bucket ice $0.50, no coffee maker, no microwave, no breakfast bar or any type of fruit/drinks, rude staff and manager. No respect for those sleeping. We choose here since it was close to most major attractions but not worth the price. Our room was larger...

I really mean it when I say don't expect much. Only good thing is it's cheap. And walk able distance to Hollywood Boulevard. But would I stay there again, No. The bed sheets felt uncleaned. Bathroom were just decent. Definitely saw cockroaches in the bathroom. Heater gave out a weird smell. Room and hotel looked aged. Would not recommend. You'll...

We were upgraded for free to a king suite which was nice. The owner/manager is a really nice guy who helped us out a lot. Only bad thing i can say is you have to pay for wifi and also parking which is quite expensive. Other than that a pleasant experience.

We stayed three nights here to explore Hollywood. Great location that was in walking distance to the walk of fame. Lots to do in this area. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here as we could walk to join tours. Only problem was dragging our 30kg suitcases up flights of stairs as had no lift here. All in all great budget accomdation

This is a budget hotel, don't expect luxury. What made this motel really unique was the front desk staff. We had originally booked a room at Budget Inn through bookings.com. Upon check in the indian gentleman did not allowed us to check with our DEBIT CARD!! Only credit cards allowed!! You could of easily charged the debit card and allowed...

Opted this place only for the location. very close to ameoba (one of the world's largest music stores), 7/11, a thai, lebanese restaurant all nearby. Also coffee shops, a pharmacy, TCL theater, hollywood walk of fame, hollywood tours, shopping area, wax measeum, Riplye's Believe it or not all nearby and at walking distance. Air con worked well. does not have...

Great location on Sunset Blvd and easy to walk to Hollywood Blvd. The customer service was average when we checked in but not a big issue. The room was spacious with good AC, private bathroom and fridge. The parking is $18 per night which seems expensive for tiny squished car parks. Internet is $8 per day per device so we...

Well, it looks decent when you walk in and as I type this I think, "it's not that bad," BUT, you get what you pay for. Oh, and the button covered beds are super uncomfortable. Great location and friendly staff.

Never again. Smelly. Felt not clean. Free breakfast was a donut. Smelt like someone else had slept there. Unfriendly manager. Credit card was charged for a day I did not stay one month later. There are other better places.

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
