Our arrival in LA was via Amtrak from San Antonio. As such, it was an easy trek by subway from downtown to a stop just one block from the Redbury; very convenient if you want to do any touring of downtown without the hassle of parking. Don't miss Pueblo Village and the austere cathedral, Pershing Square and the architecture of...

I love staying at the Redbury whenever I work at Capitol Records. They are classy and hip. But not loud and trendy. I love the record player in every room. I actually play the records. The bed is comfy. The small kitchen is perfect. Cleo restaurant is amazing. I love the sliders and my drink there is called the "Old...

I attend several concerts a year in the Hollywood area and The Redbury has become my go-to hotel. From its ideal location (less than a block from the Pantages Theater and a couple blocks from the Fonda Theater) to their amazingly huge and well-appointed rooms, the Redbury is truly the perfect “Hollywood” hotel. The moment you enter this hotel, you’re...

Well Scaughto, you might be pleased to know that we are planning on enhancing the Redbury Hotel with a rooftop wading pool and gym, but more to come when we have more information to share. You are right, the rooms are huge and feel like you are in a condo. Why stay at any other hotel? We hope to welcome...

I stayed at the Redbury a couple of nights for a conference and was pleasantly surprised with the experience. It's an older place that's been renovated with a cool, musical hipster vibe and has a nice, quirky style. The staff were great and very helpful as well. The best part is that my room was huge, with ample space for...

This is a really good hotel. We stayed here for 5 nights following a rather frantic week in Vegas, and the Redbury proved to be the perfect antidote to high levels of Vegas mayhem. Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
