Strange... The picture of motel does not line up with current name and location and building. But then anyway, I came one day earlier than planned and ordered, but he let me in anyway.. and changed the plan.. at the same planned price.

Went to LA for a concert on Sunset Blvd and picked this hotel as it was close to the venue and inexpensive. The room looked sketchy from the outside, but after checking in we were pleasantly suprised. Nothing fancy about the hotel. Just basic amenities, but did come with a mini fridge and new TV. Hotel staff was friendly. If...

The staff are very friendly and polite, rooms are clean. Very few parking. However, space is wide enough for cars to fit in without stacking next to each other. Would visit again because of the staff and price compared to other places around.

Very basic, no breakfast & no safe, so the price is justified. Despite this it makes a good base for our LA trip as had free parking & was easy access to Hollywood , the strip in about 30 min walk and there are good local shops nearby so you can buy breakfast and store it in the fridge

I stayed here a year ago but just now got around to writing my review. I have told this story many times. It's one of those scary times that after surviving becomes your funniest travel story.... It was night time (makes everything scarier) as we approached the area the hotel was in we started to get pretty scared. There was...

The Economy Inn we stopped at on Sunset Boulevard was not the one pictured here but the address is the same.Don't stop here, the rooms are dirty, bedding dirty and nothing it offers is worth a penny.Be careful when looking at well known addresses such as "Sunset Boulevard" as we found out, the boulevard runs out of glitter the further...

I've stayed here a few times when I'm looking for a cheap, quick stay when I'm in town for business. This place never lets me down. The hotel itself is a little run down, but you can tell they have been doing renovations and it still is a pleasant place to stay. The management at this hotel is excellent! They...

My sister and I arrived in LA after an international flight, we went straight to the hotel and were able to check in early. The rooms are comfortable, yet dated and a little unclean. It's a 15 minute walk to the centre of Hollywood Boulevard & a short cab ride. It was worth what we paid.

I stayed here in October and wanted to find a decently priced hotel close to Universal Studios for Halloween Horror nights. This hotel was overpriced especially for the condition that it was in. The neighborhood was a little sketchy as well, and it is by a busy road so it was hard to sleep! It's very noisy. The room was...

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
