The homeless are like slow moving zombies. Book it back up the hill to the hotel! North of Franklin, south is the real world. The stairway in the back of the 7 + acre property is deserted and old timey.... drink beer there and check out the unwashed masses. (I am on SSI myself

At 150-250 this sorta place was a bit odd and run down...but the views and unheated pool made it a little gem and made up for the not so nice aspects. Now at 450-600 a night, its Crazy for this place and Ive stayed here multiple times in the past 6 years, 150-250 was reasonable

Hi are there laundry facilities on site?
You need to contact the Magic Castle Hotel which you have to go through as they are linked. I don't think there was a restaurant on site, only basic breakfast down at the Magic Castle for both hotels guests, apart from the (not linked) Yamashiros restaurant at the top of the hill, but I imagine you would need to contact them directly as i don't think it's linked to the hotel. Otherwise there are lots of restaurants a short walk away in Hollywood
