I found this hotel because I needed a place to stay in downtown LA. I had some trouble from the onset of my arrival. They have a service charge to use their Wi-Fi but for the days that I was there, I barely had any signal and mostly didn't work. The building is concrete (or at least the part of...

I have stayed at O Hotel a few times now. It's a reasonably priced, small boutique hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, and it is easy to walk to my business meetings (although you do have to be cautious). There are not many rooms with views, and if you have a view, you hear all...

Location was ok. The hotel has a bad smell. My room was not clean. The wall was covered in amber colored stain / droplets and black scuff marks. And it smelled horrible. Got a different room, and at check out they discounted my rate. The area is marginal. I didn't feel very safe. The morning I left the elevator wouldn't...

This hotel ticks all the boxes of staying in LA and touring to the beaches, sports, theme parks - perfect base! Location: 10mins walk from LA Live. 5mins walk to the main tube station (7th I think!) which was great and cheaper to get around on for walk of fame and Chinese theatre. The car park is next door at...

Less than a 15 minute walk to the staples center...winning! Nice breakfast included in stay, hotel bar, clean & comfy room. The rooms are small, so if u need a lot of space this isn't the place for you. Mall with target 4 minute walk away and a grocery store also 4 minutes away. Great hotel for a quick weekend...

We arrived to LA after a long haul flight from Western Australia and were lucky to check in a few hours early to get some much needed sleep. The front office desk staff were most accomodating and got us in asap. This was our 1st time to LA and we found Rebecca went out of her way throughout our stay...

It is a clean hotel in downtown LA. But internet WiFi is slow and it often disconnects. And it's too noisy. 5am and trucks begin to work right under the hotel. Impossible to sleep. The breakfast is included in the 14$ daily fee. Not too bad.

I picked the O because it appeared to be a quaint hotel.Don't let the small interior fool you .The bar and bar staff are great. The rooms are newly renovated. The O has a spa and if you like night life the O has a club dowmstairs. The proximity to I-hop Ralphs grocery Subway is awesome. A block away is Macy's Fogo...

ohotelgroup.com walk through is old, NOT what it is now! I could tell from the second I walked in that this place was nothing more then a polished turd. Drywall patched ceilings, incompleted construction work and their desperate attempt to appear upscale was really very pathetic. I had no time to find other accomidations so I was stuck with this....

While staying in downtown Los Angeles, I stayed at the O Hotel. It is a boutique hotel located in the financial district. Shuttle service from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to O Hotel will cost about $18 US. Hotel lobby is a good size. Lobby is updated. They have a couple of sitting areas to relax. Right off the lobby...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
