Hotel is close to LA Live and Pasadena so it fit our purposes. Hotel needs a little love with remodeling and updates, but staff makes up for it. Go with Garden View because you do hear street noise with City View. Asked bartender to stay longer and he did. Left a jacket at breakfast and staff hung onto it for...

I'm a Hilton member and stayed on a holiday weekend (1 nite). Basically, I cannot recommend this hotel if the guest room is charged more than $175. The room are small -even though it is nice and clean. It is also not very sound proof!! So sleeping can be an issue if you are a light sleeper ( hard for...

This place is excellent and convenient to the Great Central Market, a shopping mall, and my bank and starbucks. All the necessities. I am here from Jan2 to Jan 8th. Quick to get an Uber ride as well and the staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. If I ever make it back to LA this will be a place I...

This is probably the most centrally located corporate type hotel near the courts and city buildings. Of course attracts a lot of lawyers and note that bar theme is justice related. So if like me and in town on business with the courts, its a short walk with relatively easy access to LA's Metro system. In general the rooms were...

Beds comfortable, rooms clean and bright. Nice lounge. Nice Garden area on G level Staff very friendly courteous and knowledgeable. Good location at Little Tokyo area. Many good restaurants nearby. Safe. They provided a shuttle to nearby places. Felt like a more luxurious hotel than you would expect for the price. Would have been good to have movie rentals available.

Upon arrival, as a gold HHonors member I asked for an upgrade and surprisingly they had one! A double bed suite which we needed for 2 adults and one child. However upon entering our suite, I stepped in a huge puddle in the foyer entrance and almost slipped. The carpet outside the room was soaked as well. I called the...

This was a business trip and I will go over all I enjoyed the property's value and location. The justice restaurant's short ribs were byond expectation. The cookies offered upon check in are a must and parking was a value.

Great location and wonderful experience. Was able to get $5 Uber ride to my event at the Staples Center from here. My family raved about the room that I reserved for us here and definitely made being a Hilton Honors member worth it.

We took a trip up to LA from San Diego for a few days to go to Universal Studio. Nice updated hotel in downtown LA. Walking distance to Union Station and metro line to get around other places in Los Angeles Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is nearing 40 years old and is aging gracefully. There is a certain charm to its angles and layout that is a refreshing difference than all the typical 'straight hallways' that end with a right angle. I stayed for a business trip and my plane was late and so my plans were thrown off. I was very pleased...

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
