This is THE place you are looking for if you need a safe, clean, comfortable room before embarking on a morning train. It is also THE place if you would like to be near Olvera Street. And, if you are lucky enough to be in town to visit the world famous Philippe's to enjoy their creation, the French Dip, and...

This was a great value for the price. The staff was very nice. The place was clean and quiet. If you aren't in need of bells and whistles it serves the need of a place to sleep when in town. I was really impressed with the bathroom. The room seemed a bit dated but the bathroom was great.

the hotel is in need of a refurbishment, a bit tired. However it's clean, has a reasonable complimentary breakfast, and is in a really good spot. A 5 minute walk to Union Station with a metro stop that will take you wherever you want to go. Also close to Olvera Street, a great place for Mexican food. worth it if...

First of all, this hotel is older but older doesn't mean bad. It was very, very clean and my room and bathroom were huge. I could almost see Union Station so the location is great for train travelers! I arrived by train around 9 pm and the neighborhood is in an urban area but I was fine walking alone to...

Thi hotel is a 5 - 10 minute walk from Union Station if you plan to use public transportation like we did. We found this to be the best aspect of the hotel. The hotel is average in appearance, our room in particular had a large crack in the ceiling of an undetermined nature. The room was antiquated, quiet and...

Convenient stay right by Union Station. Desk clerks were so helpful about public transportation. Travel was easy and cheap. Buses very clean. Hotel is old but very clean and comfortable. In the heart of downtown.

Look, I'm not sure you'd want to stay here for a long time, but I think this hotel is perfectly fine for a short stay. The room is clean and quiet and I found the breakfast to be basic, but more than fine. I didn't experience any 'weird' payment issues, but I booked through Wotif. After a long international flight,...

I spent a whole week getting around most of LA County without a car because this hotel is located about two blocks from Union Station where I could take the Metro and bus connection to many places. As for the hotel itself, the staff were friendly, the rooms were large and included small refrigerators and large bathrooms. In addition, continental...

It was a trip to LA which was made perfect with stay at MP! So close to Union station, LA to get connected with rest of LA by bus, metro was made possible with stay at MP. Close to Oliviera street and China town makes perfect for foodies! 👍. Beyond that staff at hotel were fine with good curtesy. Breakfast...

I needed a hotel near to Los Angeles Union Station and this fitted the bill. The room was fine, nothing special, but spacious and clean and equipped with a big flat screen tv, free wifi and air con. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, and they have free coffee at all times in the breakfast area. Breakfast was simple, cereal...
