Hotel rooms are small and not worth the price. Should've stayed at a Motel 6... same quality. Also, charge for parking.. Not included ion hotel price..... Definitely not worth it .. Stay elsewhere. Was going on a family trip to universal studios and the hotel kind of put a damper on the trip. Should've paid the extra money for the...

Individual staff members work hard but overall the experience was one of poor customer service. Ex: having a guy come around asking if we needed "coffee service". We said no but then couldn't get clean coffee cups because housekeeping would have to replace the whole coffee service in order to get it......incredible lack of communication. The customer is expected to...

The Sportsmen's Lodge must have been a fabulous place to stay when it was first built, but it is in need of a serious remodel. The facility was being remodeled during our stay. No apologies by staff. The lobby was closed and the check in process was in a side room. We wanted a swim but alas the pool was...

Spent two weeks here in April-May and staff was very accommodating. Room was great, comfortable. You cannot do any better for the money anywhere in LA. Sight is best anchor spot to launch from in any direction. Your are in the heart of the real live end of "Hollywood". This place has lots of room, parking areas big enough to...

When we arrived we found the building under construction, the lobby closed and the entire swimming pool drained, tore apart, and being repaired- one of the reasons we chose this hotel was for the swimming pool!! They never said anything ahead of time OR when we got there. We never found the hot tub or spa. It did look as...

I had called the day we were arriving to let the hotel know we probably wouldn't be in til after midnight. I was, at that time, informed that the pool and lobby were under construction and wouldn't be able to be used. The girl on the phone said "we were going to tell you when you got here, but since...

We spent five nights at the hotel in May and enjoyed it very much. The room was spacious and comfortable, the cafe was terrific for breakfast with friendly, welcoming staff, the pool (and jacuzzi) were lovely, peaceful. We enjoyed the lobby furnishings and vintage look to the decor. Free WiFi in our room is a big deal for us, and...

Sportsmans Lodge is a good hotel in a good location...but not right NOW ! The pool is under construction. It was being renovated with jack hammers the day we were there!!! The staff was good to put us in a room away from the pool, so we were thankful for that. They comp'd our breakfast which was great too. They...

The front desk, hotel room, parking and location to the studios and Burbank were excellent. The history of the Hotel is interesting, there are photos along the entrance walls...

The bed was the best part of this hotel...The room was large that was nice, there was construction going on which no one told us about when I booked. They are renovating the pool, lobby, and starting on the rooms soon. We were charged full price and couldn't use the facilities as in the picture. The pool was filled with...
