Pros: the location of this motel is great and it cost less than most other places in the area. Pool looked nice and clean and there were picnic tables where you could sit and read or enjoy some time outside. There is a grocery store across the street and several eateries Cons: rooms are outdated and are in need of...

This hotel is literally the worst I've stayed in. First off, there is no free breakfast but on Expedia, trip advisor, and even their own website, they have advertised that they have free breakfast. Which is no big deal but I think they should have updated their services so people know if they want to book a certain hotel. There...

We chose this place based on price alone. You really do get what you pay for. Considering there is the sportsman lodge just a few blocks away... Next time we shall pay the price for a better place to stay. The studio city courtyard is a great value as long as you don't mind lowering yourself too a lesser standard....

Rooms are large and clean. Although located on busy boulevard, noise was not a problem and it made location very convenient. Literally across the street is a great variety of all types of restaurants, coffee shops and a grocery store . Unfortunately, there was a man at front desk that made everything a difficult task! Booked 4 rooms for a weekend...

Great location, 30 second walk to several restaurants. The room was very clean but very old. The bed was comfortable the shower worked well, the towels were nice, and it was pretty quiet. The out doors was well kept and you really felt like you were back in the 50's. I would stay here again, but my wife wouldn't because...

This place is still a good value, but two things have deteriorated since my review a year ago. There is no longer any free breakfast. There are several places nearby to get breakfast, but you have to walk there and, of course, it'll cost you. Worse, the "free" wi-fi is so unreliable now that it's almost not worth trying to...

My family stayed here for two weeks and loved it. It is nothing fancy but we liked the relaxed vibe, we had the upstairs family room/suite in the corner. We liked sitting outside at night staring at the Hollywood hills and trying to guess what celebrity lived up there. We went to twains an awesome diner next door every day!...

A friend in LA selected and checked this hotel for us before booking, between then and now (a few months ago) he was mortified at the standard of the room. It was a corner family room downstairs and absolutely stunk of stale mould. We suffered through for two nights then moved upstairs which smelt better but the road noise was...

Nothing special, the room was large and ok clean. A bit worn in places and a dirty pool. Their homepage said they had a small breakfast, we could only find coffee. I can recommend the Bagel shop on the opposite side of the street. The price is fair, by far the cheapest I could find in this region, with available...

We stayed for 1 night here. Good: location is close to universal studios, took just 10 minutes drive without traffic. The room is reasonably spacious, mine had a king bed and a couch and table. Bed appeared ok. Not good: The hotel is more of a old motel, appears outdated and screams 'renovate me' everywhere you look. The staff at...
