The Inn is clean and neat, parking is secure and on site. Very courteous service and our every need was taken care of promptly. The continental breakfast is very good, fresh fruits, waffles, cereals, bagels, toast. juices and coffee. Quick and easy in the mornings. The location is great, close to Hollywood and Downtown Los Angeles. There is a 24... More

Large rooms(at least the room I got) ; thin walls, TV with mainly Spanish channels, tiny breakfast room and hence always crowded, but adequate breakfast, helpful front office (Peter, Khalil), decent selection of nearby restaurants, especially Denny's. for which Peter gave me a discount voucher. Sightseeing tours can pick up from hotel. Nearby subway connects Hollywood, Universal and Downtown, hence... More

Upon first arriving at the Comfort Inn the staff was very friendly. My stay here was enjoyable and in the heart of the city where all of the activities were held. I did'nt have to travel far to get anywhere. We were about 10 minutes away from downtown LA and 10 minutes away from Bev Hills. My trip was fantastic,... More

I ended up with a king-size bed and a jacuzzi tub in an immaculate room. While the hotel's on a busy street, the room was very quiet. The parking is secure in a garage and it's literally right next door to LA's clean and efficient subway that's a much better way to go to Hollywood/Highland (Kodak Theater, walk of fame)... More

We stayed three night in this hotel, and were pleased with what we got. The staff was friendly and the room was surprisingly spacious. There was free wifi and the continental breakfast wasn't all that bad. We had the same thing each day, from cereal, muffins, bagels and a self-made waffle machine, but it was surprisingly decent. The replenished the... More

2nd time staying at this hotel, only thing that made me go back was the fact that its right beside an MTA subway Station(red line - Vermont/Berverly Station, Convenience) and for the amount i paid it wasnt that bad ($70-1 night) , but the check in clerk(same as my last visit) upgraded my room, although i was only a Gold... I wanted to stay in Hollywood to experience the night life. I was looking for hotels that have easy connectivity to Hollywood by public transport. This hotel is a few yards away from the Vermont metro station and has connectivity to all of Hollywood attractions (Chinese theater/Kodak theater/walk of fame) and Universal studios. The rooms were good , neat and... More

Great value for money, large clean rooms, basic but good breakfast, and convenient to the Metro. Peter on reception was outstanding, couldn't help enough to everyone. Good economic food close by and also supermarkets

We stayed at COmfort Suites cause everything else was booked that weekend. The room was very clean and above standards. Location was great - walking distance to Hollywood Blvd near Madame Tussands Wax Museum, Kodak Theatre, Grauman;s Chinese theater. Also had a great view of the HOLLYWOOD sign. Hotel gave us directions to drive closer to the hollywood sign. SO... More

We booked this hotel only for the convenience of being close to Unviersal. The room was clean & decent, but we were placed right outside the ice making machine....! Not much else to report....

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
