Great value for money, large clean rooms, basic but good breakfast, and convenient to the Metro. Peter on reception was outstanding, couldn't help enough to everyone. Good economic food close by and also supermarkets

We stayed at COmfort Suites cause everything else was booked that weekend. The room was very clean and above standards. Location was great - walking distance to Hollywood Blvd near Madame Tussands Wax Museum, Kodak Theatre, Grauman;s Chinese theater. Also had a great view of the HOLLYWOOD sign. Hotel gave us directions to drive closer to the hollywood sign. SO...

We booked this hotel only for the convenience of being close to Unviersal. The room was clean & decent, but we were placed right outside the ice making machine....! Not much else to report....

My review has been a long time coming but I feel the responsability to do it once and for all. I stayed 2 nights at this hotel in February during the course of a school trip. We were a group of 3 teachers and 23 grade 9 students from Montreal that were on a school trip to California and the...

I stayed here over the Memorial Day long weekend. If you're looking for a fancy hotel, then this place will disappoint you. But if you're looking for a clean place to sleep and shower, this hotel is more than adequate. It is cheap compared to many other LA hotels I checked out. Very conveniently located close to public transit. The...

My only concern about this hotel is the location. It is in a shady neighborhood with transients roaming about; nonetheless, it is pretty safe. Stayed there for 2 nights. The hotel was clean. The room was decent; it was clean and spacious. It has a small fridge and microwave. The beds were comfortable and linens were clean (no bed bugs!)...

As a single female who had never been to LA before I traveled there for a conference and a mini 4 day vacation to check out some tourist sites. My conference was in the Hollywood Blvd area, so I quickly booked a hotel in the same area, but a month later found trip advisor and learned that my hotel was...

Did my subject get your attention? It's true. I've traveled a lot for both business and pleasure, and never have I encountered as extreme a circumstance in a hotel as we did yesterday. Very, very long story short: My wife and I arrived at our hotel last night about 10:00 after a day of sightseeing. Our room was full of...

If there is anything good to say about this hotel, it would be that it is very close to the red line metro train and the beds had decent comfort. The location is not in the best neighborhood although there is a Denny's down the street. Upon entering the lobby, it was obvious that this was going to be a...

Rented a 2 rooms here. One small one for myself and husband, then a larger one for 3 grown adult children. We were there for a wedding of daughter/sisters. The rooms were spacious and clean. The single electrical outlet in the bathroom made it dangerous to use the coffee maker over the sink. The place was close to our activities...

Staying in Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
Hollywood undoubtedly conjures up images of movie stars and high-end lifestyles, and to this day, tourists flock here from around the world to see the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre and to catch a glimpse of the famed Hollywood sign up close. Celebrity impersonators and crowds give these areas the feeling of an amusement park while many clubs and hotels fill up around the weekends for late-night partying - the Hollywood club scene is a haven for thumping music and table-side bottle service. But parties aren’t the only way to enjoy this area, many visitors come to the neighborhood to sit back with a picnic to watch a performance at the Hollywood Bowl and those looking to stay fit trek along nature trails in the Hollywood hills and in Griffith Park.
