This motel is just fine if all you're looking for is a clean bed and a place to take a shower in the morning. Nothing fancy, but OK. Most of the digits were gone on the clock by the bed, and one of the plastic cups had been washed and put back into a plastic bag rather than getting a...

The entire town may be dead and crumbling but this was a GREAT Motel. No complaints. Pool was great. Room was clean-no smells. Air conditioner worked great and it was 104 that day. I would definitely stay here again if I was through here again. At a Fantastic price. I left some clothing in the room when I left, called...

C'mon TripAdvisor reviewers, get real abvout reviews! How in the heck could any of you rate this place any better than 2 stars is beyond me. Its just not possible for many reasons. The only reason to stay here is if you just need a bed to try to sleep on- that's it (and the bed isn't comfortable either). Yes...

Who knew that a Motel 8 would be this nice. I'll start with the Friendly guy at the front desk from Fiji. Very Polite and Kind. The Room was extremely Clean. I just didn't expect such a large, well kept room like this from a Motel 8 in the middle of nowhere.

The Motel keeper was such an amazingly friendly guy. Everything was super okay! Rooms clean, the motel is reaaallyy nice! They've got a laundry, coffee breakfast and a pool. It is at an main traffic street, so we thought it could be loud at night im the room, but it wasn't! I would stay here again!!

We were visiting the Carrizo Plain and there are not a lot of choices of places to stay very nearby. The Motel 8 worked well for our purposes. Clean, no frills, flat screen TV, free wifi, quiet, and only $60 total. The furniture wasn't the best looking, but the bed was comfortable. We stayed here eleven years ago and we...

After reading the reviews here on Tripadvisor, and knowing how long we would be on the road did we decide to reserve a room. Be forwarned, it's a truckers / field workers Motel in that 90 % of the people are Loud & Obnoxious and could care less that others are trying to get some much needed rest. The spent...

I have reviewed Motel 8 before, but I so much enjoy the place and the surrounding area, I wanted to give an update. This is a family-owned location in a little town that is near Carrizo Plain National Monument, Wind Wolves Preeserve, and the Los Padres National Forest. The motel is reasonably priced, and the rooms are simple, basic and...

The room was clean. There was nothing crawling around. Wifi was a bit sporadic. The shower head is a bit low. A 5ft person would have to stoop to wash their head. There are no other attractions in this location/area. I would visit again if in the area but the Internet service has to be better.

Stayed one night on the way to Mono Lake. Clean room and very good price. Not the most glamorous place but perfect for our needs. Would recommend to people like us who just want a place to sleep over.
