Average at best!! The wall of the rooms were probably fabricated 50 years ago. The towels were as thick as double ply paper towels. Guests were loud and late into the night. Easy freeway access is nice

I stay here quite often and the price right, this hotel has made dramatic changes in the appearance inside and out. They provide a great breakfast served in a spacious room.. Most of the rooms have flat screen tvs, and a micro and fridge.with either tiled or carpeted rooms. , and the suite at this hotel is extremely nice and...

The Rio hotel has made very much improvement in the last year. I pass thru Marysville quite often for business , and i usually stay there and the landscaping is very appealing, the palm trees and the lawn is always kept up. The rooms are very nice with flat screen tvs, wifi and micro and fridge, they did very nice...

Stayed here one night- new owners are trying hard to turn this place around- beds were in bad shape- honestly felt like they put a 2x4 under the covers for support- bathroom was old and had some hair from another guest. Staff was helpful and doing their best- breakfast was a nice touch.

This little motel looks so very retro from the outside. The rooms are interesting with tile floors, although ours had an area rug also. Unfortunately the rug was stained. The furniture is more like a modern home than a motel & interesting. Wiring for TV ran uncovered up by the door frame. The price was right however, much cheaper than...

I'd stay here again the next time I need to visit nearby family. It's not a place to hang out in for any length of time since there is nothing around to do, but it serves its purpose well -- a place to sleep and shower. It was very clean, great water pressure in shower and comfortable beds. Window cooler...

I am ending a 3 week stay at the Rio while I was waiting for my house to close. People who have complaints are not considering what they are paying. No, they don't have five star rooms, plush comforters or deluxe breakfasts. You may find that somewhere at twice the price. But if you're looking for a good, safe place...

I booked this hotel due to Tripadvisors rating. We were very disappointed. Wish I had stayed elsewhere. The staff was excellent, but that is the only thing that is good about this hotel. I understand that they are trying to shake the previous owners reputation, but they still have a ways to go. The beds had NO blankets! Just a...

We found ourselves between two homes and in the escrow from hell! We were moving from Yuba City to Elk Grove and decided on a enduring some seedy cheap motel to save money. We saved money alright because of the great weekly deal we were given, but there was nothing to endure. What we got was a lovely clean well...

“The room we stayed in was one of the newly renovated rooms and was a non smoking room. I am a smoker and was glad to smoke outside away from the room in exchange foor the quality room. I was told the smoking rooms were not as nice. which I could understand since I've cleaned rooms before and know the toll smoking in rooms takes on the quality of the room.”
