We had the pleasure of staying at the View Crest Lodge on our West Coast escapade, Mendocino turned out to be a lovely stop on our drive from San Fransisco towards the Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park. We stayed in room no 1 and it was gorgeous, plenty of space, loved the bathtub. Overall the room was decorated with such...

We stayed here for one night and were somewhat disappointed with our overall visit. We selected the property because of its rating on this site. Initial impressions were fine. Check in was efficient and we were allocated unit 10. This unit backs onto Ukiah Street and has a hot tub. The room itself was a good size and as expected...

My wife and I took the attic room which was nice but the bathroom was a walk down some stairs outside the room which wasn't very convenient. Otherwise the hotel is beautiful. The restaurant is fantastic with wonderful modern American cooking. The complimentary cooked breakfasts in the morning come from the same restaurant. There is also a very nice bar...

Our party of three had dinner at the MacCallum , during a trip to the Mendocino area , and found it to be very good indeed . The service was good , there was an excellent selection of wines from the area , and we all enjoyed the food .

We were very disappointed with our recent stay at MacCallum House. We booked Room 7, the "Gazebo Playhouse." The write-up on the Inn's website is completely misleading. The first and most major deception is the statement, "The bathroom is a detached redwood room with a tiled shower, a stained glass window and Shikai bath and body products." Nice job of...

This Inn come hotel come restaurant was fantastic. Lovely fresh sea food. The waiters really took care of us and helped us pick out wine and good local dishes. The setting itself is lovely both inside and out. Very chilled and enjoyable night there.

We stayed in the converted water tower which has a wonderful view of the Pacific Ocean from the 3rd floor - the main bathroom on the 2nd floor was beautiful - it too had a good view of the ocean - the breakfast was outstanding although it was hard to make a decision w/all the delicious choices.

We stay at the McCallum house for a week twice a year. It's located in the center of town. Stay in the old original house or at their auxiliary suites. Great food. Check out their frequent "during the week" special rates for multiple nights. The main house provides the 1800s ambience, while their auxiliary suites, located a mile away, provide quite...

My BF and I went there for our first trip to Mendocino for 4 days. We took our puppy and stayed at the Water tower. It was fun, nice and relaxing. Everyday I feel fresh and happy with a tasty breakfast menu. I'd recommend to stay at least 2 days. Hope you guys have fun. Can't wait to come back...

A last-minute weekend getaway saw us heading up to Mendocino with a stay at the MacCallum House. We rented to Ocean Song house, just a 2 minute walk down the road from the actual inn. It was beautiful - 2 bedrooms, jacuzzi in the back, ocean views, fireplace, and large enough to have an in-home couples massage. THe king bed...
