We didn't realize it when we booked, but the Inn had changed ownership since last we visited as a young couple ten years ago. We returned as a young family, and it was the same as it ever was, which is to the new owner's credit because he could have so easily messed up the formula trying to fuss with...

We stayed here for 5 nights. One of the best rooms is Raven. View of bay and ocean even from two large windows in the shower. Breakfast and dinner included in price if the room. We are vegan and they prepared good meals especially for us. Best part is that room service is free. Even the tip is built-in to...

This beautiful Inn has a relaxing ambiance. It is set in a gorgeous natural environment with interesting birds and flowers as well as spectacular ocean views complete with dramatic sunsets. Our Osprey room was spacious and comfy with great views off the balcony. Welcoming wine and luscious caramels made us feel right at home. Bed was huge and linens were...

We stated at BGI for one night with two other couples. The staff was welcoming, our room was well-appointed and comfortable and the property beautiful. We loved meeting the owner, Guy, and receiving his input on wineries to visit. Plus our stay at BGI gave us several free wine tastings in the valley. After our stay we headed to wine...

This is a lovely, small but sophisticated inn with view of coves and inlets. Marvelous made to order breakfasts and a great (but limited choice) dinner buffet very satisfying. Staff very friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. The in really won my heart when it upgraded me to an accessible first floor room after an airport fall which left me...

3rd time here and absolutely the finest staff, room and location. The new chef is amazing. This place exudes relaxation and natural beauty. This time there were 3 solo guests including myself. Go in the colder months on weekdays, much less crowded than warmer months. Truly an inspirational retreat in every way.

If you are someone who enjoys B&Bs then this is the place to go. There are 11 rooms in the Inn, and a large main room with good size fireplace and views of the ocean. I staid in the Meadowview Suite, which is designed for families (whoops!) but was spacious, beautifully decorated and had a lovely fireplace, shower, TV, kitchenette,...

Stayed at this inn many times now, most recently with a friend (who is now a complete BGI convert) but usually by myself so will leave a solo review. As many have testified it is a wonderful place for couples, but it's also a fantastic retreat for solo travelers. You can chat with other guests to the extent you'd like--I've...

We stayed in the Raven room, the view was beautiful, the 2 person oversized tub was so relaxing, the bed and linens beyond comfortable and the staff was off the charts special. The weather didn't cooperate but we didn't care at all- they have a large collection of DVDs, delicious coffee and tea and a beautiful fireplace in the common...

We have stayed at BGI several time over many years and we keep coming back. They think of everything to make your stay special! Everything about BGI is great, the room, the food, the location! We have never been disappointed.
