We spent 2 nights at Mill Creek Resort, cabin #3 while touring Lassen Volcanic Park. It is approximately 5 miles from the south entrance. The resort, set in the pines, is rustic but very clean. We enjoyed our stay.

The first thing I noticed in our little two bedroom cabin was the clean, wood floors in the cabin. Carpet can't be really clean and these floors were spotless, as was the entire cabin. The bathroom was one of the cleanest I have ever seen The same was true for the kitchen. There was no housekeeping while we were there...

We stayed at the Mill Creek for a few days over the Labor Day holiday in Cabin 11, and we were very content with the living and kitchen/dining areas (with a furnace) and the bedroom and bath. While our primary reason was to hike Bumpass Hell and other trails at Lassen Volcanoes National Park (which was easily accessible), we were...

When I rent a 60's-era housekeeping cabin-in-the-woods, I do not expect plush towels, fancy shampoos or pillow mints. Instead, I hope for clean floors, a kitchen with enough pots and pans to fix a meal, clean linens and towels and no evidence of rodents. Eureka! We got all I hoped for, and more. We were in cabin #7 - brookside...

Good location if you plan to visit Lassen National Park. We stayed in cabin 11. It was more rustic than the photos indicated. The linens were nice and clean. The bathroom was clean. Nice shower with good water flow. The bed was a full size which was a little small for us, but a larger bed would not fit in...

The setting is absolutely serene. Wonderful place for a relaxing weekend and/or base-camp for Lassen hikes! Burgers & Shakes are great and the people that run it are really really wonderful. We will be back for sure:-)

Cabin was 20 minutes away from south entrance to Lassen Volcanic NP. The cabin was comfortable, quiet and clean. Everyone that worked at there was very friendly and helpful. The resort has a small store.for essential items you may need and a small restreraunt that closes at 7 pm.

We stopped here for a cup of coffee and ended up booking a cabin for our anniversary. The owners are warm and friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The cafe/store is small but well stocked. They have some excellent craft beers on tap. The cabins are very simple but very nice. We are looking forward to a quiet stay.

This is a cute little cabin with service in middle of nowhere, very close to Lassen NP. There is a small store for your needs, and a restaurant for lunch or dinner. Be careful though, their kitchen close early, so if you are late from coming back from Lassen or Redding, make sure you have food with you. Service is...

Me and my GF were on our second cross country trip all the way from Pittsburgh. We decided to check out Lassen National Park and had no idea where our next stop would be let alone where we'd be sleeping that night. My GF ended up calling Mill Creek midday and got arranged with a cabin for one night. Upon...
