When I rent a 60's-era housekeeping cabin-in-the-woods, I do not expect plush towels, fancy shampoos or pillow mints.
Instead, I hope for clean floors, a kitchen with enough pots and pans to fix a meal, clean linens and towels and no evidence of rodents.

The setting is absolutely serene. Wonderful place for a relaxing weekend and/or base-camp for Lassen hikes! Burgers & Shakes are great and the people that run it are really really wonderful. We will be back for sure:-)
