I'm a seasoned traveler...and I'm Rating it for what it is... a cheap inn. It's not the Ritz but it is clean and quiet. After all of the bad reviews I had the manager show me the room before we booked and he agreed and it was fine. Sheets and towels are clean and it has heat. Good enough!

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in November and had no issues. We stumbled upon a farmers market on Alvarado Street, thanks to Jean our Uber driver, which we loved! The hotel is located close to dining, the beach, and the wharf. It's a very basic hotel, but that's all we needed. Offered a heater, TV, mini fridge,... More

Clean and quiet. Good for resting/sleeping. Near HWY 1 entrance and exit. 5 minutes from the Aquarium and Fisherman's Wharf. A short distance from the beach. Coffee in the office is provided in the morning.

This was first place we stayed at during a three week family trip. It was dubbed the dirty little motel by my family. We chose it as we wanted to drive down coast from San Francisco, visits Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel and Big Sur. It was not cheap and defiinitely overpriced at more then $200/night. As I checked in I... More

Two grannies on a road trip stayed here overnight and were quite pleased considering we had been staying at Comfort Inns. This cute little place is family run and is clean and close enough to everything you'd want to enjoy.

We stayed one night here and it had everything we needed - comfortable bed, big room, decent lighting (lots of motels/hotels seem to miss this!). No issues with the bathroom - clean and lots of hot water. The noise from the road didn't bother us just the noisy small fridge in the room. Not the best location toward fisherman's wharf... More

We're used to budget cheap motels whilst travelling, however by our own fault we left booking a hotel over the memorial weekend too late. - this place was the only one available and they were charging £200!!!!! We had no option so bit our tongues and turned up to the hotel We had no welcome, just name please and key... More

When I travel solo, I am a fan of budget motels because all I need are basic amenities and a comfortable sleep. This place was a definite exception.... The night attendant didn't understand my pre-paid reservation, and insisted that I pay again. I had to call Expedia to straighten it out. The room smelled stale. There were no shampoo or... More

We enjoyed this charming little clean Inn last fall. The outer walls have ivy growing on them and took our hearts back to the 50' and 60's with this type of feel. The nicest part for us was the room. It was super clean, all new, large, and the bathroom area was beautiful. There was plenty of room to unpack,... More
