We were very impressed with the cleanliness of our room. Great job by the housekeeping staff. Not so great by the office staff. We needed to get an early start on checkout day but there was no staff in the office. There is a phone by the door but no one answered. We ended up leaving about an hour late because of the problem. Not acceptable. Otherwise, good facility. Nice having a refrigerator.
We stayed one night at this Days Inn after a full day exploring Monterey. The location is very close to many attractions in the area. I was looking forward to getting a good night sleep before traveling back home. Our room was on the second floor in the main building. Around 9pm, there was loud talking from the people next door and it continued for a while just outside our room. We could also hear the television from the room next to us since the walls are so thin. Their television stayed on all night and it kept me awake for several hours. Then, around 5am, I was awaken again by the room next door when they turned on their shower. The loud noise made it impossible to sleep any longer and I had enough of this place. If you plan to stay here, you should bring some good earplugs and let the front desk know if you experience noisy neighbors.…
I felt the value for the money at this location was great, close to everything and very clean. The heater/AC really does the job (heat in my case) however the pillows a bit to hard for my taste but other than that I like this place.
This Inn is a very good value for the area of Monterey and our room was very clean, stylish, we had plenty of room, and our beds were very comfortable - we had 2 Queen size beds and slept well both nights. I would recommend this Inn whether you’re traveling with friends or family. No pets allowed. We did hear some children above our room on Sunday morning but it didn’t bother us too much because we were already awake, but I would bring earplugs next time because you never know who might be next to your room or above you if you want to sleep in later.
Comfortable for a night or 2 ,easy check in and out. Super good bed and friendly person at the front desk , no hassle check in . Well maintained property and good internet . Great location , close to Cannery Row and the good restaurants. Easy to get to the freeway.
Thank you so much to Jampo (not sure if I’m spelling this correctly) for helping me find my jewelry. I had left my things in the room after checking out and they were able to locate it and keep it safe for me to pick up 2 days later. They took the time to ask staff and call us back to return it. We are so thankful and feel safe staying here <3
The only thing good about this motel/hotel is its location. Everything else is subpar and overall is not worth the money. For around $600 a night there are many places you could stay elsewhere that blow this place out of the water, for a fraction of the cost.
The front desk made sure I got a great room because I told them I was such a light sleeper. Two nights of sleep while traveling was accomplished. Thank you for listening!!! You guys rock! Open clean room (332) and very clean. Housekeeping just as nice. I didn't care about the hotel not providing breakfast. Denny's is a 350 foot walk if needed. Hotel was literally within 8 mins of all the fun of Monterey. I would definitely stay here again. I have worked in 5 star resorts...Its the people and customers service that make the grade! Cheers!
Execellent hotel in lovely Monterey. KC was awesome to check in with. Answered a bunch of questions about the city and helped us get into a cool ocean view room. Would highly recommend staying here, and hopefully you get to meet KC!!! Will be coming back soon.
Cleanliness 5/5. Our stay felt safer and the rooms were cleaner than most 4/5 star places that I’ve been to. My family and I were greeted by Arjun KC with a warm smile, it really felt like he cared about our experience from the moment we walked in. Combined the the price, service, and quality of the rooms, next time I come back I will definitely stay here again. The distance to the beach and wharf was actually a 15 minute walk. We were expecting to pay outrageous pricing being such a close walking distance to to all the attractions but it was really cheap compared to other places. I’ve already recommended my friends and family to stay here and I can guarantee you won’t regret your stay. Thank you Arjun KC and Days-Inn for exceeding my expectations!
