Compared with staying close to the aquarium etc this is a lot cheaper. The neighborhood is fine. Not glamorous, but a few restaurants within walking distance. The bathroom was old, but clean. The microwave and fridge were nice to have. The bedroom looked newly refurbished. Basic, but great for the price. Whe going downtown we parked in the downtown west...

Positives: Clean, good price for Monterey. Negatives: We arrived late and probably for that reason were given Room 47 which is right on the street at the front of the motel. It is a cute 'cabin' that included a little kitchen (which we didn't use) and front porch, but the traffic noise was just too much for us and we...

Clean, comfortable and convenient motel in an expensive area. We were lucky to have stayed here as it's affordable. Very spacious room and bathroom, mostly modern. Would recommend to others. Lots of places to eat nearby as well.

Hotel room is old, the very old A/C actually woke me up during the night because it was super loud.....so I had to turn it off, but couldn't sleep since it was cold then... plus the check-in lady really had some attitude.... However, I did get a room upgrade with a kitchen, and the location is very close to Hwy...

We typically stay in Marriott hotels but looked for an alternative when area Marriotts were $400 per night. We took a chance on this motel after reading the reviews on trip advisor and were so glad we did. If you are looking for a glamorous hotel with wow factor, this is not for you. However, if you are looking for...

Hotel needs restoration. Our room was a very big 2 bedroom appartment with kitchen and dining room. The bathroom tiles were old, water didnt drain in the bathtub. The kitchen was big but with old furniture and a funny smell. The appartment had an electric chimney, but it's kind of dark (not enough sunlight). Hotel does not provide the service...

If you can allow the patronising, rude attitude of the check-in-girl to go over your head this could be a good place to stay. Our room was large, well equipped and extremely clean. Some of the furniture is a little dated but it was clean and comfortable. The fresh flowers in the room and two fold out suitcase racks were...

We had a cottage room which was perfect for our family trip. Loved the kitchen with full size fridge and freezer and a perfect table and chairs for card playing at night. There's a very nice patio next to the rooms for a quiet morning in the sun and you can brew your own coffee in your kitchen. It was...

We stayed for two nights with our family of 5. It was so comfortable and homey. We loved having a kitchen and separate rooms to sleep in. The rooms were very quiet & very clean. We will be back again.

Just finished my one night stay here. Very clean place, bed was great. Bathroom very clean. Quiet rooms, would stay again. In a good location easy to get anywhere in Monterey, pacific grove area. Boyfriend enjoyed the sauna.
