This is a great place for happy hour drinks and watching the sunset! Sara and Marley are incredible bartenders! Super nice and friendly! Outside fire pits. Great hotel on the dunes, between Seaside and Monterey, making it a great place to stay!

The room was definitely not worth the money. I will say the view was beautiful though. Nice to have beach assess so close. The room was so very basic, furniture was old and the bathroom very small. The restaurant and lobby are really nice. I just wish the rooms were as nice. Dennis at the restaurant was a great server, very attentive, efficient and pleasant.

this place takes the art of deception to new levels… it has an attractive lobby but once you leave here you are travelling back to the 1950s in terms of facilities and maintenance … we checked out and went to the best western plus within 30 mins of arriving and it felt like the ritz carlton having been at the tides. It is also deceptively expensive with all kinds of added charges. Avoid at all costs !!

Marlee and Sara are great bar staff that takes care of the locals when they come in to get food and drinks. We know that the tourists get good service, but us locals keep the ship afloat. Go and visit when you have time.

Without a doubt the worse hotel I have ever had the misfortune to experience. Checked in with a very friendly young lady, made our way down to what appeared a set from Breaking Bad, complete with bloodstain on the bed. The room was cramped, dark and musty. We agreed to leave immediately, cancelling the 4 days of our stay. We were charged an exorbitant fee for the first night along with parking, resort fee, state tax and who knows what else. To be frank it didn’t matter at that point, we just needed out. Who ever posts positive reviews of this hotel must have a very limited world view, visual impairment or some form of mental incapacity. I do not recommend visiting this hotel until it is swallowed up by the beach.

Best bar service - Marley was knowledgable wonderful energetic gracious and a great mixologist!!! Deserves accolades!! We spent the evening there with small plates and drinks. The room was busy but our orders were efficiently served.
