Clean and comfortable place to stay. Staff was very friendly. Grandma's Kitchen next door is also recommended for food! Pinnacles National Park is just over an hour away which was part of the reason for my trip.
Read very good reviews about the property. Pacific Inn did not disappoint. Mr. Karun from the front desk was warm and welcoming. He took his time to ask about my day, any fun plans, and explained the facilities of the property. Room is newly renovated, wooden floors, awesome bathroom, microwave and fridge w freezer. Ample free parking. This is definitely my go-to place in Monterey from now on.
This is an older style motel that has been renovated to a high standard. The room is spacious, there is a good bathroom and the bed is comfortable. The laundry facilities weren’t operational when we were checked in but there is a laundry just across the road. This is a good option for visiting Monterey if you have wheels.
I reserved a room with this hotel months in advance. A month before my trip, I updated my credit card information using their on-line reservation system. When I arrived at 5pm the day of my reservation, they claimed that they did not receive my updated credit card information and they had therefore already given my room to someone else.
I’m usually apprehensive about staying at places that aren’t well known national chains but this place was priced just right and turned out to be very nice. Facilities are nicely decorated and clean with a modern look. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and accommodating. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star rating is there were a lot of random noises. Every time the heater came on, there was a loud rattling that continued for quite some time. Also loud rattlings and banging came other rooms that, I assume, were plumbing related. Fortunately, I’m not a very light sleeper. Otherwise, this was a lovely stay.
The staff were attentive and helpful. The rooms were clean well designed and the bed was marvelous. The structure is older so the ceiling and walls are a bit thin. Parking was convenient for us. The location is very convenient, the mall is about 3 minutes away and the wharf and cannery row are about 3 minutes past that.
It’s our first time to stay in an inn and we were surprised when we entered our room. It was clean and spacious. Bathroom was updated and clean. Room comes with mini fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. Its not bad for $80. Ample parking space available. The main door was kinda hard to open though and i wish the door had a double lock.
I was planning on bring my dog so I booked a pet friendly room. Last minute change and my dog did not come with me. The room was very clean and set up nicely for pets. The bed was very comfortable. Shower and sink area was also clean and nice. The towels were thin but still did the job of drying. There is a wonderful diner right next door to the hotel which was wonderful. We had some really good comfort food. Breakfast was fantastic there homemade biscuits and country potatoes were amazing. I would recommend this hotel and Grandma's Diner!
This is a clean place and good value. Pet friendly place and walkable neighborhood. Parking is a bit complicated and cramped. Restaurant adjacent to property is very convenient. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
We had a good stay for 2 nights. The king sized bed was comfortable and the property was quiet minus the drunk people that came home late Friday night (around midnight) and wanted to shout it from the mountaintops lol. It luckily didn't last very long. We parked easily both nights and everything was clean.
