Hotel seems to have gone through some refurbishment. The room is new but you can see that they still keep some parts in the room unchanged eg the sofa, the lights. Location is perfect - parking is easy, walking distance to many places - we managed to catch the sunrise a few steps away from the hotel. Breakfast is a good spread. Would definitely stay again when I next visit

We stayed four nights. The hotel has a unique design which helps keep things quieter. If you have any mobility issues however make sure to specifically request a room with out stair to access. The front counter staff was very helpful from dinner suggestions to arranging for taxi service to airport on our day of departure. The hotel has access to the main walking trail right out the front door.

This hotel is wonderful. It's close to everything, (walking distance for most attractions) The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and anticipates your needs, before being asked. Especially, Phillip, at the desk. The rooms are comfortable, immaculate, and quiet. We had a courtyard room with a view of the water. Firepits in the courtyard, which was so nice in the evening. Lap pool, exercise room, and their restaurant is excellent for a full dinner, dessert, or perfect salad. Highly recommend. Worth every penny. Beds are so comfortable, and the temperature of the room was perfect. Didn't have to constantly change the temp.

This hotel appears to be older, but everything in our room was new. We had a king corner room on the 3rd floor facing the water. The room was a decent size and the bed and couch were super comfy. The hotel is within walking distance of both Cannery Row and Fisherman's Wharf. Staff is friendly, breakfast is decent. Now for the warning (not a complaint): unless you request an ADA compliant room, you will have to walk down and potentially up several flights of stairs to reach your room. When you come off the elevator, you have to walk down stairs, and some rooms have to then walk up. I will post pictures so you can see what I'm talking about. So if you have any mobility issues at all, or have a lot of bags, you may want to request a first floor or ADA room.

Lovely big rooms, there would be enough room for a sofa bed that would of made our stay perfect. The room was clean but there was a horrible smell in the room of wet dog. Breakfast was included with a variety of pancakes, muffins, pastry, fruit, cereals, tea, coffee and fruit juices. Great location for the aquarium and there’s a free bus that will take you to Fisherman’s wharf.

Perfect stop on our American road trip!! The hotel is clean/tidy/helpful staff, could not of been any easier. Nice walk to cannery row and the fisherman’s wharf!! Free parking and even got a visit from some deer in the morning before we left..

We chose this hotel due to its location which is very close to Cannery Row. Nice spacious rooms with a good size bathroom. The breakfast was fine, breads, pastries , cereals and limited cooked breakfast. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel also has free parking for all guests. It’s a 10/15 minute walk to the harbour a further 5 minutes to downtown Monterey. Free trolley bus to and from downtown to the Aquarium. Easy access to Pacific Grove, 17 Mile Drive and Carmel. Great find would stay here again.

Stayed here during a recent visit to Monterey Bay. Loved the price and convenience of being able to stay in Cannery Row without having to pay a fortune for the hotel. Lots of places to walk to from the hotel. Is a bit older but definitely convenient in terms of location. Would stay again.

This hotel is an excellent example of an IHG Express property. The hotel is within walking distance of cannery Row and Fisherman's Wharf as well as some restaurants and shops. The property is well kept and up to date. It also had free parking in its own parking garage. The breakfast is adequate and the staff is great. Our room had enough extra space where we didn't feel cramped. All around excellent for our trip to the Monterey area.
