The Sandpipper Motel was a very pleasant stay. Rooms were very clean. Truly enjoyed the atmosphere and service .Will definitely stay here again. Close to shopping, the beach and restaurants. Made great memories with my grandchild.

The room is old but clean. You get to hear everything around so plan bringing earplugs if you wish to sleep like a baby. Location is good. About the view it really depends of where your room is I guess because mine was on the parking but I did not bother. Ask for a better view if that's one of...

The frontdesk employee was very friendly and the room looked newly decorated with nice green colors. Not your typical motelroom. There was some wear & tear on the furniture but the room was clean for a reasonable price and just a few blocks from morro bay center (rock).

Had a one night stay at the Sandpiper en route to San Fran. Arrived around 8pm so unfortunately missed the sunset. The gentleman on the check in desk was very friendly and welcoming and the paperwork was sorted promptly. The room was a pleasant surprise...clean and perhaps newly refurbished. A fridge, microwave and tea/coffee making facilities were provided. It may...

Had a one night stay here - room was basic but clean and was a great stopover on our way from San Francisco to Los Angeles. The staff were welcoming and the muffin breakfast the next morning was very good. What set this place apart was the fantastic customer service. My husband left his tablet here and the owners were...

Stayed here for 1 night on a motorcycle road trip in a group of 4. The hotel is walking distance to restaurants and the coast. Quiet, clean and everything worked fine, just an older place with no frills. I would stay again.

This small inn is an amazing spot for a weekend stay at the coast. It is an unassuming, quiet, clean, and reasonable motel with an absolutely incredible view of Morro Rock from upstairs and down. In addition, they welcome pets on their ground floor rooms. I have stayed there for business and as a getaway from the summer heat with...
