Typical old school American motel with very friendly staff, WI-FI and breakfast included. Can`t be better if you are looking for a place to sleep over. Nice and quiet neighborhood refrigerator and microwave inside the room.

This small inn is an amazing spot for a weekend stay at the coast. It is an unassuming, quiet, clean, and reasonable motel with an absolutely incredible view of Morro Rock from upstairs and down. In addition, they welcome pets on their ground floor rooms. I have stayed there for business and as a getaway from the summer heat with...

The room at the sandpiper inn was basic, clean, and comfortable. The rooms are fairly dated and could do with modernization, however we only spent one night at the property and it served its purpose. The property is close to both the beach and town.

Stayed one night when driving from LA to SF. Only walking distance from the Embarcadero where you'll find plenty of good eats and a nice view of Morro Rock. There's currently construction immediately opposite, but didn't notice any noise or dustiness. Very simple breakfast provided free at the reception office. Sandpiper Inn is quaint, sufficient but short of fantastic.

We spent a night in this motel while traveling from LA to San Francisco. I liked good location of Sandpiper - just 30 minutes driving from Big Sur. The price is more than "friendly", however my card was debited before we arrived, and it made me some problems. WiFi worked well. Breakfast is included - cornflakes, cookies and coffee -...

Lovely grounds - We had a good stay here although the decor is quite dated; tv not wide screen. View better from second floor- get a glimpse of the Bay- but no seating at all??? Having said that the location was fantastic, did have a view across to Morro Rock - what doesn't here? The staff were extremely friendly however-...

We were lucky enough (or booked early enough) to have a very nice room with a peek of the ocean. Our room was very comfortable and clean and the Sandpiper Inn is within walking distance to everything. A great place to say if you are looking for a room close to the Embarcadero and activities that doesn't cost an arm...

We had a lovely stay here. The decor is quite dated and the tv is one of those big sets that's deeper than it is wide. Having said that the location was fantastic, with a great view across to morro rock. The staff were extremely friendly and always smiling. The breakfast was simple but nice, with fresh coffee and muffins...

We took a family trip to Morro Bay and this was the most reasonably priced motel with good reviews that we could find. It was clean and centrally located. The man who worked there was super nice and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Decent value for room, but I might have skipped this one knowing that the manger seems to keep a watchful eye on the small breakfast offered. Breakfast was a blueberry and chocolate muffin cut in to quarters, and cold cereal. There was orange juice and coffee but very small styrofoam cups. The breakfast was in the very small lobby that...
