Mount Hermon is a gem in the Santa Cruz mountains. In existence for 110 years, it continues to grow and evolve to provide a beautiful and serene but exciting and challenging family camp experience. There is truly something for everyone. Ropes courses, zip lines, indoor basketball, outdoor swimming pool, redwood tree trail hikes, snack shop featuring Santa Cruz's famous Marianne's...

Mount Hermon is a place we took our kids just about every summer. My wife was even a camp nurse at Redwood when she was in her early 20's. My wife's parents took their family to Mount Hermon every year for at least 17 years. I consider our family to be Mount Hermon experts. If you are after a God-centered...

I have attended this conference ground many times over the last 17 years, the most recent of which was for the Mount Hermon Spring Women's Retreat. I loved the cabin we were assigned. Accommodation offered is either cabins or dorm/hotel type rooms. Not all groups have their choice, but if you do, I recommend trying for a "Deluxe" cabin. I...

Mount Hermon Conference Center is located off of Graham Hill Road in Felton, CA. You'll see a large sign for the conference center at Conference Drive and Graham Hill Road. (This is just across from the Covered Bridge Park and next door to Safeway grocery store.) Turn down Conference Drive and slow down--lots of pedestrians en route to different locations--...

My company hosted a 40+ person meeting at the conference center in early June. The staff are incredibly accommodating with all of our crazy logistics, changes, late arrivals, early departures, etc. The family style/buffet dining was nutritious and tasty, conference break/snacks were plentiful. The office staff were quick to respond to any and all questions we had. Zach and Tara...

I grew up in the neighboring town of Felton. We went to many Mount Hermon events throughout my childhood. As an adult I've brought my family here to camp once and to Mother's Day Buffets since 1998. The camp was a total disappointment which cost us about $3,000.00. We went to the final Family Camp of the summer. It was...

Just returned from our second visit to Mount Hermon. The childcare and programs for all ages enable Mount Hermon to provide Christ-centered encouragement, growth, challenge and refreshement for the whole family. Parents can grow from teaching and relax because they know that their kids are expertly taken care of. Kids have fun; youth have a great blend of activities, fun,...

We make this an annual trip for our family. Our family loves the verdant setting in the redwoods, the amazing teaching (both for youth and adult) and proximity to Santa Cruz. Incredible value for an experience impacts our lives for the rest of the year. You won't be disappointed.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Mount Hermon properties are in some of the most beautiful places on earth! Our original site, nestled in the towering Santa Cruz mountains redwoods, is just six miles from Monterey Bay. Our Kidder Creek Camp, in the Scott Valley near Mount Shasta, sits against the stunning backdrop of the Marble Mountain Wilderness area. The Whisper Canyon locale is a rustic retreat near Paso Robles and Lake San Antonio. Mount Hermon’s year-round Christ-centered camps, conferences and concerts serve the entire family. Come explore and be amazed. More than 60,000 people experience Mount Hermon each year. In Santa Cruz, there are three self-contained camp and conference facilities: Summers at Ponderosa Lodge are geared for junior high and senior high students; Redwood Camp’s full summer schedule delights elementary and primary school-aged kids; our Conference Center summers provide a Christian resort camping experience designed for every member of the family. At Kidder Creek we offer a broad array of traditional, adventure and horse riding camps for youth of all ages. The wilderness programs engage in whitewater rafting, rock climbing, cliff jumping and much, much more! Throughout the remainder of the year, each facility operates Mount Hermon-sponsored camps and conferences, as well as hosting programs provided by guest groups who support our ministry objectives. Let us know how we can serve you or your group. Amid all the variety, one thing is consistent—God is at work at Mount Hermon, and the result is lives transformed. Mount Hermon Association, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the state of California. ... more   less
