We were definitely expecting more for a 4/5 Good Sam rated campground. We camped in late November which is obviously their off-season. Booking the site was painless and easy but we expected much more for the cost. We were told upon booking that they had no sewer hook up available although we saw many empty sites with sewer hookups (maybe...

We visited Redwoods RV in early December, obviously the off season. We always research parks on our intended route and this was no exception. Being full time RVers, we have found that a little investigation is worth the effort. But we were surprised the pictures on the website were not indicative of the park. I believe they are systematically upgrading...

We where so very happy to find this place. Really well maintained, clean restrooms and showers, very friendly staff and dogfriendly! This is a great campground, close to the river .Lots of shade too.. So if you are in this area this is the place to choose.

After reviewing this rv park we were excited to get a space here for the long weekend. We pulled in after dark to what one would call a "snug" site. The next morning, we discovered we were about 4 feet away on either side from our neighbors on both sides, which meant we kept our windows and shades pulled for...

We spent 7 days at Giant Redwoods RV Campsite with four other families, we all traveled from all over California to meet here and had a super great time! The staff was very helpful in ensuring that we all were accommodated, we ended up coming in days earlier than anticipated and needed specially large sites as we had 2 34'...

We have always had a difficult time finding a good camp ground when driving through this area. This campground offers you large trees with shade to camp under. Full hookups for comfort and a beautiful river. We were were only over nighters but I would consider more days, especially if we had the grandkids. Small store 1/2 mile up the...

On-line reservation; check-in easy; very nice check-in hosts; mid-camp men's bathroom was very, very clean - key code entry; private shower stall w/ hot water; soap, hand towels. We were only here one night while traveling through the redwoods. Right on the Avenue of the Giants. The park is nice with gravel, fire rings and picnic tables. Small store and restrooms with shower. The river is great with a nice beach and place for swimming, skipping rocks, etc. Playground and dog park. Myers Flat is not a destination...

Been coming here off and on 35 years. Very nice campground with very nice people. A lot of the redwoods were lost to disease but they are replanting new and adding a lot of flowers and other trees. I've never seen as many butterflies in one place before. Great spots in both shade and sun. Easy access to Eel river...

We recently stayed at Giant Redwoods RV which we chose based on its central location to sights we wanted to see in the area. The drive from the highway to the campground felt a bit sketchy but the campground was well worth it. We found the campsite to be clean and orderly with friendly staff and visitors. We routinely used...
