Overall, I'd say the price point does not justify the stay. We stayed here for a long wedding weekend during our first visit to Napa. The wedding and wedding staff were incredible - the venue was great for every event, and the staff was helpful...More
A very nice property. Nice people, spacious, clean room, and nice views of the mountains/hills/golf course. Like any other hotel place, if the price is right, that can change the experience. We got a rate of around $200, so it seemed like a value for...More
Beautiful day to sit by the pool and enjoy the comfortable setting. Skilled employees, amazing new updates. I was surprised when I arrived. My receipt said Happy Birthday and was given a bottle of Sparkling to go with our Spa Day. Suzy and everyone at...More
A lovely resort with a beautiful southern style reception area, bar and restaurant. The resort is extremely spread out and wherever you park, I have always had to walk what felt like a considerable distance is. There are bell men in golf carts who are...More

You really need to hire a driver and then plan out your daily itinerary. We had a driver pick us up around noon each day (or earlier on a couple days) and take us from tasting appointment to tasting appointment. We ended at a dinner location (make reservations..) and then just took a taxi back. Black Tie Taxi was great, but restaurant can arrange pick up easily for you. We used @ExecutiveCarService, Andre is the owner and he was awesome. He was able to get appointments for us at wineries that I was not able to get into as they were booked...he knows some great spots that you won't think of...So not having a car is really a bonus is you can have a driver with inside contacts. Also...the police sit outside of the wineries just waiting for wine tasters who have one tasting too many.... So in my opinion, a driver is the way to go. (I do think you can use a taxi service if you are just going to one or 2 wineries that are near each other ...or heading into Yountville to do some tastings at some of the tasting rooms and then dinner, but if you want to really experience some of the best wineries, and there are many, and they are not all close together, then a driver is the way to go)
