Since I was only there for 2 nights, I did not fully get to explore/judge the hotel. However, from what little time I did spent at the hotel, I enjoyed my stay. Although, there is no room to cook or store items in a fridge (one is available but it's a mini-college-dorm room fridge). Also, depending on the day, their...

I stayed the night of May 27th for a graduation in Balboa Park. The location was a short 10 min drive and there are so many stores and restaurants nearby. My room was very clean. I'm glad they will charge a large fee if anyone smokes in the room and no one can smoke near the rooms😎

The room was updated and pretty clean (despite one very long, black hair on the bath mat). Key worked well and room was surprisingly quiet. Close to shopping center and several walkable amenities. On 2 occasions, 2 different front desk staff were visiting with friends and discussing private things. They demanded a deposit, which I did not accept to pay.Having...

As soon as we walked in the room it smelled like a smoking room but besides that it smelled like they tried to cover up the smell with something that was horrid! I'm not a hotel/motel snob so we tried to make do with the situation and tried airing it out and turning the ac full blast which helped a...

This Motel 6 was a nice surprise. My room was very clean other than a small stain on the bed top cover. It is the new updated version of Motel 6 with the "fancy" furniture, faux wood floors and marble showers. We had a room with 2 queens. There was a nice LCD mounted to the wall with plugins for...

This place is Family owned n run. We were charged $13. For the third Person when ALL OTHER Motels allow 4 People without charging more. This is a VERY GREEDY OWNER and We won't be back. There is. Motel 6 that only charges HALF what this one charges,a mile away. I'll post a review on that one in 29 days....

Over $100 for any Motel is too much but San Diego's Motels/Hotels get greedy round any Holiday or Special Events. M-6 on East Plaza Boulevard.has NICE rooms and it's super easy to find dinner in walking distance. CVS across the street is open 24 hrs but no place close to get coffee in the morning. We will be back.

I been here twice in the past year, and the last time I went, I got a room that had feces still smeared on the toilet seat! Disgusting! there was also hairs on the bed! I went downstairs to see what they can do to exchange rooms and they did but the next room was even dirtier! so I requested...
