This was a stop over for me while traveling across state lines. The housekeeping staff was polite and the young man at the front desk was very friendly to say the least. He gave me a few suggestions for food options in town and helped me out with some other information that I needed. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Our encounter with the lady, both on the phone and in person, was strange. I do not understand how Red Roof is rated even three stars. Avoid this place. Not only rude but her disregard for a potential customer was perplexing. I called ahead several times prior to arriving. My husband and I were moving across country. Traveling in a moving truck and towing a car on a large trailer. I needed to know if there was room to park due to the combined length of both truck and trailer. I was checking in advance because we were turned away from a motel our first night on the road, in Virginia. The lady was very curt and abrupt. I could tell by her voice she was from India and, at first wondered if there was simply a language barrier. I wondered why she was so unfriendly, curt and seemed put out. I went to book online as Expedia offered the best price (less service fees as well). I felt unsure (uncomfortable) after talking to this lady on the phone. So, I decided to hold off on confirming a reservation until we physically arrived. Intuition told me to check things out first. Unbelievably, she was even more RUDE and abrupt, in person. I am not making this up! We tried to ask questions. She refused to listen, cut us off and talked over us in a very degrading and disrespectful manner. She started talking about the room rate and the quote was so much higher than expected. I noticed a hand-made sign that said something about an additional $10 fee as well. Not straight forward but felt more like a hustle. She expressed her dislike for Expedia and other online booking agencies. I explained that booking through Expedia would save us $30 or more. I asked if she would consider honoring the Expedia price thinking it would save her money if we did this verbally before I booked online. Again, she lashed out. Now I am getting stressed out and realize this lady should not be in the hospitality business, at least not on this particular day. Her grudge with online bookings was clear. We were exhausted and at that point wanted to just get in a room. She kept talking over me, she was aggressive and unfriendly. I finally had just had it with her rudeness. I interrupted her as she talked down to me and asked her to please STOP! Please just stop interrupting and talking down to me. She then got on her high horse and said we would no longer be able to give us a nicer room she had in mind and then, on the next breath, decided to refuse us a room all together. After all her verbal abuse, she put her hands together (Namaste). Which normally means welcome. I found out later, in this situation, it was a back-handed insult. Her parking lot was pretty empty and now she turned away a paying customer that she had just verbally abused. Wack-a-doo. We immediately called the Budget Motel and talked with a very nice young man. He provided us a nice room, no muss, no fuss and he was incredibly kind. The room was clean, same price as an online reservation. Easily half the price of Red Roof. I was a bit rattled from the treatment and abuse we received at Red Roof and thanked the young man several times for being nice and for providing excellent customer service. This was one of the craziest situations I have ever encountered. Room tip: Do not stay here. Something is off about this place and the owners that run Red Roof. Rude does not begin to explain the experience.

I stayed at this location ten days ago on the last leg of a cross country trip with a UHaul truck to help my son relocate to CA. The physical facility is tired, but adequate. My room seemed clean although the AC unit was quite noisy. But the proprietor made this a very positive stay that I remember well. She directed me to decent places to eat, made sure I understood the wifi coordinates, and was very helpful in allowing me to park the truck in a well lit location that I could see from my room.

Stayed 5 nights (3 people, one small dog for about $100/night. Room was clean, everything ship shape. Employees were very nice and helpful. Would recommend this to anyone who needs a one night stay or longer. Area Very quiet. Railroad track couple yards away but only heard cars going over tracks (barely) and NO train horns blasting at crossings.

Amazing price for a great room! Friendly staff, and conveniently located. Their continental breakfast food was only Twinkie's and ho-ho’s, but you still can’t beat what you get for this low price. I would definitely stay again!!!

I've stayed here twice, and will again when in Needles for work. The owner is super nice and keeps the place tight. The employees are all great, and it's a very good price for a quiet stay. There's a restaurant next door, and a dispensary. There are few other places for food, gas, etc. also nearby.

I really enjoyed my stay at Red Roof. It was easy to find and plenty of parking, and it is adjacent to a chinese restaurant. My room was clean and spacious, and the managers were wonderful. I highly recommend this property.
