Our room at the Best Western Colorado River Inn in Needles, CA was updated in the last few years. However, it’s time to replace the bouncy mattress. Breakfast was included at the Chilling Point Restaurant & Bar next door. What a treat to have breakfast cooked to order!
On a cross country trip from IL to CA, great place to stay overnight amazing staff. Good local services, excellent restaurant suggestions by hotel. Clean, quiet, great AC, Internet, etc. I would stay here again.
Front desk check in staff were very courteous, breakfast voucher was at the neighboring restaurant was a nice plus, room was clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable although I could have used another blanket. Check out staff member was also very courteous.
A pleasant surprise as this BW had great staff and terrific pool and hot tub. Proximity to the inter-state was no problem sound wise leading to a great sleep. Bed was comfortable sheets a bit "thin" but I'm guessing that's a desert thing. Great c=value given the location.
This is an older hotel but refurbished nicely. Email checkout. Overall clean. Carpet seems clean, plenty of hot water, and the heater worked fine. The beds were comfortable. Four pillows each bed. Friendly staff. Seemed quiet. Definitely would come back. Breakfast was at the restaurant next door with a voucher. Eggs, hash browns, country potatoes, bacon sausage, etc. Restaurant seemed clean, the waitress was friendly, and the food was good.
When we first passed through Needles, we stayed at the Quality Inn. There was trash in front of our room door and the breakfast they served was awful, some kind of egg whites that were rubbery and sausage links that I'm not sure they were even real meat. On our return trip we decided to try the Best Western. What a difference!! They do a great job keeping up the hotel. It was clean and the room looked to be newly painted. What made our experience even better was the breakfast. Best Western partners with the restaurant next door to serve their customers a real breakfast. Eggs cooked to order with real meat, hashbrowns and toast. Also, real coffee that is not out of dispensing machine. We paid about $10 more for the room than the Quality Inn but it was money well spent. Best Western has earned a repeat customer.…
Overall this hotel was decent. The room was clean and comfortable. Although the bed was somewhat comfortable, it was very bouncy. The hotel is in the process of remodeling/updating so I hope that they invest in good mattresses. The only downside to this hotel was the trains that went by behind the hotel every hour to 2 hours all night long. If you stay here, be sure and get a room that faces the restaurant next door. Also, this hotel does not have an elevator so be sure to book on the 1st floor in the event you have any disabilities for climbing stairs.
Hmmm. We usually count on Best Westerns providing a basic level of cleanliness and quiet. Not this one. Dirty linoleum floor (we had a dog, so I guess it was a dog room). Holes in bedside table. Dried food on dresser. Holes in pleather head board. Never again. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh.
My room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Some say the train bothered them. Not me,⁰p I slept really well. Tempature when I was in Needles was 100° thank goodness the ac was great. It was on along with the refrigerator upon arrival. Very thoughful. Breakfast was good lots of choices at resturant next door provided by coupon from Hotel. There is a pool!
Nice motel in Needles. The front desk employees could not have been more friendly and helpful. Didn’t know hot Needles is, so I was super happy when I got to my room the AC was strong and cold. Clean room. Comfortable King bed. My room was on the backside and could hear train activity. Thankfully I’m a heavy sleeper, so the trains didn’t bother me. Light sleepers may want to ask for a quiet room.
