Complete slimeball business - they actually disable less expensive internet options so you're forced to buy the most expensive ones. If you try to connect to the internet without buying a plan, you're redirected to a site where they try to sell you scientology books, I wish I was kidding. And one night I look up from my computer to see a little roach on the wall. Place is ok otherwise, not too dirty (at least in appearance) for how cheap it is. Being so cheap it attracts a lot of crackhead types though, you have a 50/50 chance of being next to some loud trashy addict who makes noise late at night.

Well let's put it this way... The bathtub had some repairs done to it.😳 My 7 year old nephew could've done better repairing it. It felt like a hand touching my feet, all squishy and weird. The room had a bad smell to it. But the location is centrally located to almost anywhere convenient to fuel stations, Starbucks, shopping, nail spa, etc.
My bf, who checked us in said the person at the front desk were cool. Until the next day... See we are the type of people who try to relax and not be in a rush so we always request a late checkout which vary on the hotel and or front desk personal. So, we did as always request a late check out and we were informed to call the next day around check out which was 12-12:30pm. So, we did so and were told they would've called the police to escort us out around 1 if we wouldn't have called and that is what they typically do if the guest doesn't check out. So, beware if you stay there. This was told to us by the manager herself.
So, I am pretty sure to positive that will be our last visit to that property.

Does not meet 3 Star level. The bath tub needs renovation. Rooms not facing the pool will have a direct view to the 101 and will probably be loud. The carpets need cleaning and tools are too old.

Good price for the LA area. A lot of space and centrally located to visit LA, Santa Barbara.

Its not always budget rate as there are higher rate days but people are friendly at this hotel, there's a community microwave, fridge and its mainly nicely quiet save the street and freeway noise. No pet fees. Super, I mean, super clean. If its outdated its rather charming! Wish the lobby, pool area and ice amenity were open by now. I've stayed here quite a bit and don't think I ever had any problems or complaints. Maintenance is reliable and I like the owner has a Pug and is kind to guests. Wish wifi was free although I think a low rate pass is available on the site. 6.00$ a day for it adds up. Love the new landscaping. Its a good hotel. Housekeeping are friendly also, they don't growl at you like alot of hotel staff do!

This hotel does not even deserve a star. Bad reception, incompetent, hypocrite, they rush you to transfer you to another room if they see they are overbooked, the maids are a joke, hiding the dust in the corner and as nice as a cemetery, maybe if they wee smiling a bit we would forgive their incompetence, a fat blondish guy has not clue what he is doing and pretends being the boss, of course he is an employee and a bad one, the security guy who is at the reception has a smile as fake as a dirt bag asking you for money, but he is the one who will rush you to move from one room to another etc...you will see homeless people in this hotel, fight and drunk people, the management and the reception don't care...Do you get the picture?
Run as fast as you can from this hole!!!

I had a month work project so I chose this nightmare dump in spite of the very bad reviews.
I tried very hard to over look the cockroaches, the drugged out looking characters, the smokers all around my room, the women waiting for their johns outside their rooms behind the motel, the rock hard bed, the cheap one drawer furniture, the tiny microwave where the spooky looking characters waited in line to heat their food.. It goes on..
But I could not over look the dishonest corrupt
staff. Their attitudes were beyond rude, anything requested by a guest was received badly and the results are to be yelled at and threatened to be kicked out.
After I made a couple requests, the lies about me begun.
I was accused of the most absurd and disgusting things that it brought me to tears. These are things a 62 year old woman just would never do. The manager looked like he was going to go postal any second.. It appeared he had some type bipolar or severe anger issues.. I couldn't defend myself over his screaming anger.
He was so insane and controlling he warned me that if I even tried he would kick me out on the spot.
They told bold lies, and treated me
With the most disrespect I have ever received from a so called professional organization. Don't even stay in this hell hole for even a night.. It doesn't deserve any not even one star.

I only marked it a ONE because there is nothing less. This place is DISGUSTING! There were roaches throughout my first room and neighboring room guest made continuous noise (in and outside their room). People live there (slum). I switched rooms and was greeted by more roaches. Bottom line... I had to LEAVE - in order to actually get some sleep. AWFUL!!! Do not book this place - EVER!

We read the reviews here, but bc we had a relative in ICU at a nearby hospital and expected to be here for a while, we decided to try this budget hotel in spite of the reviews. We came to check it out during the day and didn't think it looked awful, and the hotel staff were kind enough. the price was right, and the location was close to the hospital so we stayed. It was a mistake.

It's true what people say: there are lots of characters wading around at night (probably bc there is a Salvation Army next door), who very well could be on drugs, and our room definitely had lots of cockroaches. Under normal conditions we would have never considered staying, but we were so emotionally drained from sitting in ICU waiting room for days, that we just shrugged it off and figured we weren't spending enough time in the hotel to let it concern us.

By night 3, I woke up with a bite on my forehead that puffed up all around it. We read that bed bug bites are usually in rows of 3 bites, so we assumed it could have come from anything, even something outside. But then by night 4, I woke up with HUGE red bites all over my thigh, all in rows of 3. We checked the mattresses and saw blood streaks all over them. Don't stay here.

I agree with the other reviews about this manager, she has a stick up her butt, she seems very mean and the staff isn't the friendliest either, I asked a maid if I could have some fresh towels and she barked back at me in spanish, not sure what she said, but I never did get those towels!

Oh, did I mention the 6 bug bites on my body waking up following morning?
$5.00 per 24 hours for internet?!?

Next time I will pay more for better service and cleaner rooms.

I stayed at the Premier Inn on 2/16/2013. When we checked in, the girl they had working at the front was very rude to my husband when she was asked a simple question about the coffee. We looked past that and thought maybe she was just having a bad day. After getting into our room we discovered trash under the bed as well as a used condom in the bath tub. When we were ready to retire for the night, the motel became very loud especially the room next to us. They were high on drugs and smoking their crack right in front of our room at midnight. We notified the front desk that we were unable to sleep because of the druggies loud conversation and they assured us they would take care of it, after more than an two hours later, my husband ended up going outside to tell them to shut the hell up, but not before waking my 8 month old son at 2am who then refused to fall back asleep. I think sleeping in our car would have been more enjoyable than the horrible night provided to us by this fine (NOT) establishment.
