Refused my reservation because they demanded that one of my guest provide an ID even though the reservarion was made in my name. Also the night time front desk guy was extremely rude, he also has a bowl cut so immediate red flag. There is better options nearby, do not book here unless you want to be disappointed.

Motel Hell- Our lovely next door neighbors were arrested in the middle of the night for domestic disturbance, drug possession, at least one parole violation and a possible weapons charge. They also charge for Wi-Fi, but that pales against the safety issues here. The front desk didn’t answer when I called about the disturbance next door and apparently they do not have security on site, so I had to call 911 once things escalated to threats of violence and a reference to a gun. Finally. Our non-smoking room reeked of smoke- a detail housekeeping should have noted and remedied and the carpet has obvious pet ( hopefully) urine stains.

This hotel does not even deserve a star. Bad reception, incompetent, hypocrite, they rush you to transfer you to another room if they see they are overbooked, the maids are a joke, hiding the dust in the corner and as nice as a cemetery, maybe if they wee smiling a bit we would forgive their incompetence, a fat blondish guy has not clue what he is doing and pretends being the boss, of course he is an employee and a bad one, the security guy who is at the reception has a smile as fake as a dirt bag asking you for money, but he is the one who will rush you to move from one room to another etc...you will see homeless people in this hotel, fight and drunk people, the management and the reception don't care...Do you get the picture? Run as fast as you can from this hole!!!

Complete slimeball business - they actually disable less expensive internet options so you're forced to buy the most expensive ones. If you try to connect to the internet without buying a plan, you're redirected to a site where they try to sell you scientology books, I wish I was kidding. And one night I look up from my computer to see a little roach on the wall. Place is ok otherwise, not too dirty (at least in appearance) for how cheap it is. Being so cheap it attracts a lot of crackhead types though, you have a 50/50 chance of being next to some loud trashy addict who makes noise late at night.

Its not always budget rate as there are higher rate days but people are friendly at this hotel, there's a community microwave, fridge and its mainly nicely quiet save the street and freeway noise. No pet fees. Super, I mean, super clean. If its outdated its rather charming! Wish the lobby, pool area and ice amenity were open by now. I've stayed here quite a bit and don't think I ever had any problems or complaints. Maintenance is reliable and I like the owner has a Pug and is kind to guests. Wish wifi was free although I think a low rate pass is available on the site. 6.00$ a day for it adds up. Love the new landscaping. Its a good hotel. Housekeeping are friendly also, they don't growl at you like alot of hotel staff do!

The good: We cehcked in very late, past midnight. Our room reservation was held becasue we called in and paid while on the road. The bad: A couple of little beetles roaming the bathroom. Empty shampoo dispenser in shower. Refrigerator not on, no switch or plug-in evident. Cheap single-ply toilet paper. The ugly: Stains on the blanket (see pictures)

This is basically an off--highway hotel located 20 miles South of the City of Ventura. Located near Camarillo and Thousand Oaks its off the 101 Hwy and therefore accessible. There is a 7-11 gas station nearby, fast food and a Target nearby. My room came with a small fridge. The room was dated with older TV and no frills accommodations. The most attractive part of the room was the price. Very affordable. The room was clean, staff were friendly, and they have certain limitations. Pet friendly but no dogs over 25 lbs. There is only 1 microwave in the laundry room, the room only comes with a fridge. When you check in the fridge is turned off. You have to stoop down to turn the knob to turn it on. Overall the bed was comfortable, linens were clean, and the room was comfortable though as I said dated. Overall it a notch up from Motel 6 and a few other budget motels, but its not the lap of luxury. There is a pool and as I said laundry facilities. Parking is available onsite, and if you need something cheap, there's a Salvation Army store nearby too.

Room is very clean. Housekeeping very friendly hard-working. TV is worth watching room is a bit antiquated on furniture. Carpet is lumpy chairs are a bit tattered phone does not work when asking front desk for something. Ice machine broken. Bath tub feels like it’s going to collapse. But very friendly people here. Free coffee in the morning.

Wow. That was a bad decision. I booked this motel online, and on the map it didn't seem too far from L.-A. - I mostly wanted to avoid areas where I wouldn't be able to park, and rooms that would be nightmare-ish. When we arrived late in the evening after driving all day, five guys who had not made reservations were checking in just before us, and it took an eternity. They require everybody's ID, not just the one of the person that made the reservation / pays for the room. When I asked what wifi network I need to use, they told us there was no wifi included, and that even though Expedia stated it was free, you had to pay for it. I did for one night, and believe me, it was really crappy and expensive. They gave us the worst room, next to a room with a pinball machine, and the ice machine. They key didn't work. I went back to reception and asked for another room, with keys that worked. They relunctantly gave me another room, located upstairs, and we could hear the cars passing on the highway all night if we didn't crank up the noisy AC. The room is so humid that its door stuck to the frame and we had to rip it open every morning. On our last night we came back to the room to find cockroaches chilling on the bathroom mirror. The horror. The towels were pretty much all stained. So... on top of being super far from L.-A., being infested with cockroaches, they also employ staff that couldn't care less about its customers. Avoid.

Took two rooms here for a couple of days with my wife and our 2 teenagers. It's ideal. Great welcome. Good facilities. Close enough to drive to Malibu for the ocean. The pool and jacuzzi are very well kept. Rooms very clean. Great shower. Good size fridge. TV channels fine. EXCELLENT coffee in lobby area
