Stayed three nights. One block to beach and nice boardwalk. Friendly and helpful staff pushing home baked cookies on you, so expect to gain weight ;) You can rent dvds and they will pop popcorn for you. Town is small and not super interesting, but beach walking was nice and there are plenty vacation rentals to admire on the beach....

We just spent two nights at the Bay Shores Pen. Hotel, and will stay there again. The staff was very friendly and courteous, the room was clean and comfortable. For us, the location was also very good. Fresh fruit in the room daily, continental breakfast in the mornings, and fresh cookies at 3pm

Good value including continental breakfast....bedding is substandard , limited parking. Peninsula traffic can be bad, especially during the summer months.Forgot some clothes & they mailed them to me! How many hotels do u know would do that?

This is one of the best small hotels that I have ever stayed at. The rooms are comfortable and, as someone else has said, like your bedroom at home. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is abundant and excellent. Cozy and warm would be two words that best describe Bay Shores Peninsula Hotel.

My Wife and I had a great one night stay in December. Our plan was to see the Christmas boat parade since the bay is a block away and the view from the roof top lounge would be good as well. Unfortunately bad weather made us scrap that plan after a couple of minutes. The next day was perfect winter...

We have stayed at this property one other time but that time we really did not explore the area or use the amenities of the hotel. This visit we had the pleasure of spending more time in the area and have come to fully appreciate the hospitality and services provided. Location: The location is simply the best. The beach, the...

Our one night stay was entirely pleasant! Charming, clean, comfy and perfectly located between the harbor and ocean! Great getaway for families or couples. The staff was over the top pleasant, friendly and helpful! Freshly baked cookies at 3pm, 24/7 coffee and tea, plentiful and nutritious free breakfast! Free Wi-Fi, free parking, comfy beds, dvds, books and roof-top deck. I...

This place was passed over by time. You walk into a lobby with fresh baked cookies. The two owners give you a welcome card and a tour. The place is spotless and like a beautiful home atmosphere. The rooms are like bedrooms not hotel rooms. The beds are so comfortable if you lay down your gonna take a nap. The...

I'm so glad that you had a terrific stay! Nothing gives us more pleasure than being able to extend our hospitality in a home away from home atmosphere. I do hope you'll be able to come stay again, thank you for taking the time to leave your review.

We stayed 3 nights at the end of several weeks of travel in the USA in order to catch our breath before heading home to NZ. It proved to be the perfect choice. A slight step back in time with the decor and room, but that added to the vibe. Our room was comfortable with all we needed including free...

Glad you had a great trip and that my hotel could the final stop on your US vacation. Thank you for recommending the rooftop for breakfast and the boardwalk for 'pottering' - two of my favorite things to do! I hope you had a safe return home, I look forward to hosting you the next time you come over.

FIVE STARS FOR A REASON! This review is long overdue. In October we held my 40th birthday event at the Bay Shores Peninsula Hotel and it was such a wonderful choice for us and all of our guests who flew in from all over the country to help celebrate. The Manager Ralph and all of their staff (special shout-out to...
