Amazing place. Beautiful Lodge. Super Friendly staff. Arrived at 10 and knew check-in wasn't until 4. Front desk staff took my phone number and called me 30 minutes later to say they had a room cleaned!! Great bar and restaurant. Hit the slopes for the one day the sun was out. Blizzard conditions when night fell which was perfect due...

This is a very European style inn at the bottom of the ski runs. It has great access to The lifts. It is veRy nice. Especially if you want conveniEnce to the slopes and lifts. The one down side is that it does not have any ElevatoRs.

Right. On. The. Slope. Bam. Stayed three nights. Huge blizzard. Lots of powder. Highway 80 shut down. Good times. (Though felt like The Shining at one point) Friendly and accommodating staff. Killer fitness center (Sporthaus) with better free weights than most personal gyms - six squat racks! Set up for full crossfit - rings, bumper wights, TRX, artificial turf, etc....

We arrived at the carpark 17:00 (in the dark) and were whisked away to the Gondola , with all our luggage put into another Gondola (which was manually pushed onto the track), and we were taken on a ten minute ride over a ravine with snow and in the distance, the sparkly lights of the hotel. On arrival we were...

This lodge is truly rustic. We have stayed in several historic hotels and know to expect gliches. This lodge however could use a bit revamping. The walls are very thin, the floors very creaky, furnishings "tired" and the worst, was looking forward to a hot bath after a day of skiing and see that the water coming out of the...

Beautiful location, fantastic outdoors experience, and the staff is awesome. This is a great place for a wedding (or skiing) but not of a luxury experience. The rooms are old and walls thin. Rustic is the word. I would happily go back for either summer or winter.

With only 2 days to ski, we wanted convenience (exactly 1 1/2 hours from Sacramento where we were visiting), personal attention, minimal crowds, and comfortable accommodations. The Inn exceeded our expectations. First, Sugar Bowl's large lodge is Mt. Judah Lodge on another part of the face of the mountain. Ski lessons are probably best taken at that lodge. The Inn...

Stayed here for a handful of nights over the past couple of years. It certainly has a rustic charm to it, by which I mean it is older and quirky. The heat in the rooms is difficult to regulate, especially if you're in one of the family suites with a separate room with a bunk bed for the kids (the...

We've been to the Inn 3 times in two years, always mid-week the room rate half that of the weekend. Very pleased each time. Great friendly service by all staff, starting from the greeting at the parking structure entrance. A lot of them clearly love their jobs, and I recognize some of them from year to year. One fellow at...

We have been here for 1 night and were positively surprised. The staff is very helpful and nice. The room was clean and pleasant. Well equipped. Recently renovated. Very comfortable bathroom. Being 10 feet from the lifts is a huge comfort and will upgrade your vacation. This is absolutely unbeatable advantage. We were here in midweek, so prices were 50%...
