I am surprised by all of the favorable reviews this place has received, as I had a different experience. I stayed with my niece for one night and while I was immediately charmed by the decor and location, the paper thin walls were a bit hard to ignore. I could hear every single footstep made around my room on either...

We stayed here for 5 days while we were visiting Yosemite National Park. We arrived late, but there was still someone there available for us to check in. We enjoyed our room, it was small but it had a queen bed and a day bed and we liked the french doors that opened up to the porch. We read online...

I was so sad we had to leave. The place is beautiful and our beds were dreamy comfy. The sound of frogs and crickets lulled us to sleep. We stayed in the double queen suite and it had a fire place and a giant size bathroom which had a bath tub and a shower. For a couple of college kids...

What an awesome place. Great location, easy access to Yosemite. Very well-appointed and comfortable room, many porches and seating areas, roaring fireplace... couldn't ask for anything more for a winter stay. The staff was incredibly friendly, and always determined to be as helpful as they could possibly be. High recommend!

Really enjoyed staying here. Easy drive to both Yosemite and Bass Lake. Only two miles to downtown Oakhurst and restaurants; located right off the main artery in a calm rural setting (unlike the other area hotels which are right on the busy highway). Easy to find, helpful staff, and overall charming accomodations (could hear some footstep noises from room above...

It's an awesome old wooden house with 3 chimneys, one is always burning. They have a piano in the living room and a great restaurant. The staff was always very friendly and the room was beautiful and clean. The history of the house is very interesting, ask the staff about it ;)

Very cozy atmosphere; high attention to detail in lobby and common areas. The room was a little small and lacked a refrigerator. The bed was comfortable and shower was hot with appropriate pressure. The room also had another entry/exit that opened to a nice deck with additional seating. We woke up to a large flock of wild turkeys walking across...

Clean rooms and friendly staff! Great place to stay while visiting Yosemite. Breakfast is light but what I expected for the price. A staff member even went out of her way to print out directions to a recommended restaurant.

After hours on the road driving from San Francisco Airport passing through other very small towns, we arrived in Oakhurst and were happy to see that this town was large enough to provide everything needed – numerous restaurants, grocery store, galleries and shops. We shortly arrived at Sierra Sky Ranch which proved to be as comfortable as it appeared in...

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Yosemite. It is located off the main road to Yosemite, so you don't have issues with traffic (unlike a lot of other hotels in the area). The room was very good, if a bit small. Service was very friendly. Only downside was the basic breakfast: if they offer a full breakfast with...
