Nice room, bed was large with nice crisp White sheets, we had a ground floor room and nice table and chairs outside to sit on in evening, downside bathroom is very tiny Trains only 5 mins walk straight into San Francisco

The hotel rooms were ok, although the cleaning could be improved. The manager was not too friendly and was stressful upon welcoming us, but his colleagues were really helpful. As it is near to the BART station, it is low budget solution for visiting Oakland, Berkeley and San Francisco.

We stayed 3 nights and the room was reasonably priced for the area. For staying in Oakland I felt it was in a safer area and the hotel was surrounded by a wall.I had no problems with my vehicle. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained. The bathroom was very small, but sometimes that's...

Arrived to stay here after travelling the coastal starlight. Great room , good size and very comfortable bed. Good wifi as well. Bedroom very clean. I don't understand all the GOOD reviews for this place. This hotel is in a rather dicey section of Oakland. So that even the manager is behind plate glass at the desk and the reception door is always locked. First, if you tell the manager you will arrive around 7PM, if you are even a little late, HE CANCELS YOUR...

We were on a budget so chose to stay here rather than in SF itself, as the hotel was advertised as having easy public transport access. This was indeed true - just a few minutes' walk to the BART station which takes you directly to the centre. The staff were very helpful - letting us check in early even though...

A bit worn down and dirty but that's what you get for the price and it's definitely worth it. The location is ok and the staff is nice as well. I wouldn't mind staying here again if I were traveling on a budget.
