Wheeler Gorge Campground is close to Ventura, Santa Barbara and Oxnard so you don't have to go far to get a great outdoor experience. There is no drinking water or hand washing stations at this campground. You'll have to be sure to bring your own...More

We booked 2 nights in this campground but we only could stay one because of the serious problem with mosquitoes and little flies. We couldn't even breath withouth swallowing flies. Was terribly annoying. Also, due to draught there are rattlesnakes and other creatures like tarantulas...More
