Massive snowstorm hit while on vacation there. Had the best skiing ever!! The mountain staff really hustled to get lifts and trails open after the storm. We felt they were looking out for our safety and kept lifts closed until safe enough to run. Staff was great at directing us to the trails that were open. EPIC!!!

We stayed at the Village at Squaw Valley in a one-bedroom unit that included underground, heated parking. Quality experience for the family and we will return. The only downside was that restaurants were crowded and take-out ability was limited. Put your name in at least an hour before you intend to eat, or you will be eating late if you...

Decided to take a last minute trip to Squaw. Busy week, so tough to find a room last minute, but hotels at the resort were extremely helpful. Ended up staying at Resort at Squaw Creek. Staff was excellent and friendly. Skiied Squaw February 24 & 25. Epic snow.....Perfect conditions! Lots of powder and the lift lines were not too crowded....

This was my first trip to Squaw Village since I was a child. My children's first visit as well. It is a lovely resort & so convenient for snow sports. I really enjoyed our stay! The Village has everything right there (snow sports, dining, shopping, coffee). It's really ideal!

We were very happy to be on the lifts, and near great shops and restaurants. There was also a full kitchen, but plenty of food options at reasonable prices. They have everything you need if you forget to pack something.

The Demo shop is great. They have a large selection of quality skis to choose from. Its a beautiful place to be. Lots of terrain for the whole family. The bathrooms are slways clean and fully stocked. The bars are fun and enjoyable place to stay after.

I've been skiing at Squaw for 30+ years and Its keeps getting better and better!' I'm now teaching my daughter to ski and it's the only place she's skied! We love the mountain, the staff and instructors are all amazing! It's a great family resort! ❤❤❤ Squaw!!

The Village at Squaw Valley is a great place to spend a ski weekend. Our family (with two teenage boys) was warmly welcomed upon our arrival. The room type we reserved was not available, so we were upgraded to the next level of accommodation at no additional cost. Our ski lift tickets were ready at the desk when we arrived....

Great location at the base of the mountain. Our room was on the 4th floor facing the mountain (Red Dog Chair Lift). At bedtime I enjoyed shutting off all the lights and watching the run groomers work the mountain in the dark with the bright headlights, very peaceful. We had a surprise treat on Saturday evening when there was a...

Great rooms, we had a mountain view, kitchen, dining tables, and a fireplace. Conveniently located by the tram and restaurants. Just go downstairs and start skiing and/or hit the restaurants and bars. Parking was underground, long walk but they have dolly carts for us. Overall, most memorable experience so far skiing at Squaw Valley.

“We stayed in a king room with a queen sleeper only because it was all that was available. I would have preferred to have had a separate room for our kids. But it was a really busy time during a snow storm! Next time I will plan better.”
