Theydont pay back deposit they lie and say room was dirty and say they have pictures I said show me he did not they kept calling me an my daughter homeless his so-called women was rude they are crooks and the chairs had stains I will never go there again so if you want to lose $20 go there

We booked online and when we got the homeless sleeping right outside the room, smells like stinch scary people hanging out side and the so called non smoking room had cig burns in the sheets and blankets , we did not care if we way over paid $222 cause there were no other oh yeh the would not refund us , we left and just drove all night to get home I had 2 kids and really felt like this was not safe

We booked here because it was the only available for the area which took pets the area where our family reunion was being held.the rat es quoted on the web-site were reasonable and then we were charge three times as much. If we had been charge the rates quoted on the web-site, I would have not been too upset...I would have expected a motel 6 type motel. This was worse. The bed was uncomfortable, the two pillows were so thin they were practically non-existant, we could hear everything that was going on within three rooms on either side. There was a train track that ran by the highway the motel was on and the train that ran through in the middle of the night blew the whistle the length of the track for I'm not sure how many miles. It really didn.t matter because I didn't get any sleep either night because my back was killing me from the hard bed.and the smell in the room. We asked for extra pillows for the second night and we were given one...told that was all they had. While we were out during the day, the maid never made an appearance as far as we could tell. Two miserable nights with no sleep for $400. What a deal!…

We were in Oxnard for a wedding & needed to stay one night. We were only in the room to shower, change clothes, come back, sleep & leave. OK for that only. Shower head good, bed not. Stained bedskirt.

This is a complaint against the "Flamingo Motel" in Oxnard. We did not cancel our booking. We arrived to check in at 8:10 pm. We were informed that our booking was canceled because we weren't there at 6 pm. There was no indication on the confirmation that the room would be canceled at 6 pm or would have called to make sure room was held. The man at the desk told me the reservation had been canceled and they had "rented" the room; he then attempted to rent me a different room, "But not at that price." He was asking $87 when I had booked the room online for $49,99, this type of fraud needs to be addressed by the community of Oxnard, this business is a scar on an otherwise fine town. This is a business to avoid at all costs. Sleep in your car first! The rooms may be nice, yes the neighborhood is dicey; but not scary. The manager, however, is a not ethical.…

Good stay for one night when on the road and looking for a quick layover for a reasonable price. Room was more or less clean, the bathroom was nice with fresh towels. The area of the hotel is a bit ghetto but we didn't feel unsafe. We couldn't find a room while driving through late at Ventura/Oxnard and were pretty happy to have found this motel.

motel looks kinda scary from the outside however the property managers are very nice and the rooms are very well decorated/kept. price was great for a one night stay while attending a funeral in town.
