Our family booked a 2 bedroom condo for a few days while we explored the area and Channel Islands National Park. While the fixtures and building itself was a little dated, it was priced just right. Everything was very clean and well maintained. It meant so much to have the full size kitchen to prepare a few meals since everyone was tired of eating out. It had all the comforts of home! The office staff were very available and accommodating. The maintenance man was friendly and helpful. Even the housekeeping crew was friendly, making sure we were having a nice time. We slept the best here of all of our stays during our 2 week vacation. We would definitely consider booking here again!
So this resort has so many great things to offer. Washer/dryer, private jacuzzi, short walk to a great beach but cleaning needs to improve. No seal on our door which I didn’t notice until my second day where I saw them on other doors. Coffee in the coffee maker, hair in shower, food stick to dishes, and the worst part a dirty diaper under the edge of the bed. No way this was COVID protocol cleaned. We washed the dishes, wiped everything down with Lysol wipes but the ick factor was hard to shake off. Again…. great place with lots of amenities …. if it would have been clean.
Plus - quiet neighborhood, proximity to beach. Marvelous hot tub for yourself, clean, at right temperature, easy to operate, safely installed, with a view of the ocean. Condo was roomy and comfortable. Minus - condo not ready at check-in time, despite phoning in two days before asking for possibility of early check in. Had to return after dark and schlep luggage while referring to the map they left me. Doing this while in daylight would have been better. Good news is that this is something they can improve upon. Otherwise, I would have given them 5 stars. Great place to get away from it all and share time with family and friends.
A terrible experience. The rental was not cleaned by the time we arrived well after check-in. The cleaning staff had just shown up and were not wearing masks, as the website indicated they would be. We left and assured them they should take all the time they needed to clean, but when we returned we found the toilet still had waste smeared inside the bowl, the floors were still covered in grit and bits of food, there were hairs on the pillows and sheets, hairs all over the bathroom floor, and a used cotton swab on the floor next to the bed. The complex claims to mandate quiet hours, but there is nobody around to enforce them. When a loud gathering started next door around midnight, I texted the help number I was given at check-in and received an automated message saying that the front desk would open again at 9am. We were guaranteed we would receive a refund, but it was never issued despite multiple followup calls.…
What a fantastic experience from the location, to the unit to the helpful staff. The room was all that it could be except for one slight drawback and that was the jack-n-jill bathroom. For two couples this took a little organization, but we managed. The unit was plenty big enough. I especially want to thank Luz who was very eager to take care of us as far as putting us in a single level unit. She made sure that our check in was smooth. The experience goes high on my travel list and hopefully we will return. Thanks Luz.
We love it here. We own a 2 bedroom float week. Most units have a patio with a Jacuzzi and bbq on it. As well as a washer and drier. Used to have a garage but they are all locked now. Only problems are the bed rooms are upstairs and the furniture and bed are worn out. There is no pool or rec center and the place is now contact free, so you have to get your key out of a lock box. But the location is great about half a short block to the beach.
The location is great. You can have 5 min walk to the beach. The staff is very friendly. They provided beach items such as chairs and boogie boards. The place was clean. It’s a little outdated but for the price and location it is so worth it. All employees wore mask on property. Plenty of parking. Love the private Jacuzzi. Will come back again.
Where do I even begin....Check in time is 4pm...we got a text at 4pm telling us our room was not clean yet and we would not be able to check in on time, we ended up checking in almost 45 min late. Then our keys didnt work...not once, not twice but 4x then they called maintenance and had them come fix the "problem". Later that evening we had a very important even to attend (which was the reason why we were visiting Oxnard) only to find out our keys were not working AGAIN, so I called the after hours emergency number (it was 7:14pm) and they told us there was nothing they could do for us that evening because it was after hours and our issue could not be resolved till the following day during business hours. I told them I had a very important event to attend and I needed a key to get back into our apartment after the event and they just said "sorry there is nothing we can do to help". So needless to say we had to miss our event because we wouldnt be able to get back into our apartment without a key that worked. Our hot tub only had 1 jet that worked. It was just definitely not worth the pretty penny we spent to stay there for 2 nights. Just based off the customer service I would not recommend or I will not be staying there again. Dont waste your money.…
Our two bedroom condo had a full kitchen, private patio with barbeque and spa and was a half block from the ocean. Unit was sanitized including dishes in dishwasher. Contactless check in. Helpful staff can be contacted by text message. Staff will not enter the unit while guests are inside. Very health conscious for a great vacation
We were very comfortable and it was conveniently near Malibu. Stores and restaurants close by and small farmers market at marina. Condo was clean and well maintained. Staff nice and helpful when we arrived after office hours.
