When I visit a coastal town like Pacific Grove, I prefer to stay in a place where I can get a great view of the ocean. Seven Gables is perfect for views. Within one block of Lover’s Point on the Monterey Peninsula, this bed and breakfast has rooms with a variety of ocean views. If you get tired of the...

View, hospitality, cleanliness, charm -- Seven Gables Inn has it all. When we first got there, I noticed the exterior windows had a bit of dirt and spider webs, but thought, oh, must be that time of year when they let the windows go a bit. Wrong. The full crew of window washers appeared the next morning and our windows...

We stay for four nights and loved both the Inn and the town. So glad we did not stay in either Carmel or Monterey as PG was easy to walk around and had great restaurants and much less touristy. We walked across the street to Lover's Point each morning with our coffee to watch the sun rise. Breakfast was great...

If you can afford it for two nights or more, do it! We stay here during the "off" season, which we like because there are no big crowds. This place is fantastic in every way. We will return in the Spring.

We stayed in the Gables room for an anniversary weekend away and it was such a wonderful experience! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The room was spotless, the view was amazing and the food and service were remarkable! Truly a memorable experience - thank you for making our anniversary so special!

We continue to love this place. The beds are very very comfortable, the breakfast buffet perfect for us and then there's the wine and cheese and visiting time in the later afternoon. It's the only place we stay when in the Monterey area. Having said that, it's good to be aware of some things. With the layout of the buildings,...

What a cute, romantic spot - perfectly located across from the water. Our first floor room had an ocean view and a VERY comfortable king sized bed. My only gripe would be that since we needed to open the windows to get a cool breeze through the room, we heard some foot traffic and talking as folks walked by our...

This is a lovely B&B. We stayed in the Carriage House and it is a very comfortable room, ground level so you need to remember to close the blinds. :) Even though we stayed during a rare heat wave the room was still comfortable with the fan. Breakfast was very good, better that most B&B's. They were able to get...

We stayed here for just one night in 2014 as a stop off whilst driving the coast on our honeymoon. We completely fell in love with it and we were so sad it was just one night that we flew back in Sept 2015 to stay for longer! It's absolutely perfect. Beautiful location, breath taking views. You can sit in...
