What luck we chose Pacific Gardens Inn! Such a lovely location, across from Asimolar, surrounded by beautiful trees and vegetation, with the ocean minutes' away. It's not fancy, but so comfortable. Robert, the gracious owner, checked us in, giving us great information for exploring the area. We were upgraded to a quiet room, fireplace, frig, popcorn popper, popcorn kernels, coffee,...

We had an enourmous suite with sitting area, dining area, kitchen (fully equipped) and two bedrooms. Laundry facilities downstairs. The reception team were very welcoming and helpful. There was a fireplace in the room and in reception, very cosy as its quite chilly at the moment in pacific grove. A short walk from the beach, and minutes from the famous scenic...

We had a wonderful time at this Inn. Everyone who works here was so warm and welcoming. We felt like we were visiting with friends. The wine and cheese in the afternoon was a really nice plus. The dining area was cute and comfortable. Our room was very nice and large for a B&B. The nice touches with coffee and...

Rooms need updating, but other than that, this is a quaint bed and breakfast inn with a good location. The breakfast consists of a variety of breads such as muffins and scones plus hardboiled eggs and cereal. Their coffee earned an A+ and the glass mugs and juice glasses were a nice touch. Also this was the only B&B of...

I admit my expectations were too high based on the reviews on this site. The room was a bit dingy and dated as others had pointed out. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and everything worked. My main issue was that any sound in any adjacent room was quite audible. I heard the people above walking around until...

It was a very nice location, near to everything. Quaint surroundings, very close to beach, great breakfast in the morning; wine and cheese in the evening. A bit outdated interior and some upgrading to the interior is needed, but we had a 2 bedroom apartment and were quite pleased. It was such a pleasant place to stay.

Though the inn looks a little old from the outside, it is a very well kept and a cozy place to stay. The inn is 4 minutes away from the beach and there are good restaurants around. The hosts were friendly and ready to help. The fittings are a little old but it all worked fine. The rates were quite...

A family owned and operated hotel where we felt welcomed and spoilt. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the owner who was so helpful, giving us tips and directions for our stay in the area and making our time in Monterey feel like home away from home. Lots of great facilities here, laundry, breakfast, internet (in rooms...

Only a few minutes from Monterey. Not your expensive fancy hotel. In a wooded area with a homey feel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They give suggestions on places to eat, and offer to make reservations. We had a large King room with TV w/about 100 channels, w/DVD player, fireplace and popcorn with a popper provide. They also...
